I'm not saying that halogens are the only option, but EVERYONE remembers their first halogenation experience. They're ride or die and will stick by you no matter what once you put the energy in. Sure they can be clingy and overact, but they're also so willing to work together to stabilize others and toughen up the weakest of groups. And sure they're a lot to handle, but they ask for so little and are they most stable in relationships. They're a sponge for all that negativity in others and are great at neutralizing the most polarizing arguments. They work better with all the other elements than any other group and are powerful enough to make bonds that will outlive us all. Whether it's something that happens organically or in awkward inorganic situations, halogens are always ready to sink their electrons in and be the force needed to let all the other elements explore reactions with new compounds and also be the barrier between elements that are toxic and abusive when they get together. Plus they got a lot going on in their orbits, never a boring moment.

I literally don't need to do that. I get like 150 asks a day and 200+ replies and I get to pick and choose my favorite ones, like a king, choosing who lives and who dies.
