Owen’s very first food was avocado and it’s also become his favorite food—just like mama! #Ad Living in California means having access to some of the best local produce, which means this babe has been eating very well. My neighborhood coffee shop recently started serving oat milk, which I thought was such a great alternative! #ad It made me want to try making it at home, so I partnered with @Quaker to bring you a homemade version which I used to make these #matcha lattes. #QuakerOats 🍵🍵🍵 Matcha Latte with Oat Milk 1 c oats 3 dates, pitted 1 vanilla bean, scraped pinch of sea salt 3 c water 1 tbsp coconut oil 3 tsp matcha powder 2-3 tsp honey 1 c hot water 1 c oat milk Directions for oat milk: Soak oats and dates in water overnight. Strain and rinse oats. In a blender, blend oats, dates, vanilla bean seeds, coconut oil and salt. Strain. Directions for lattes: In a blender, mix matcha, honey, water and oat milk, until frothy.
