“Some people said they were blue, some people said they were violet. I think they were violet.” - Taylor on Elizabeth Taylor’s eyes
Which reminds me of this:
Honey is about Gaylors.
Honey is one of the songs that actually made my cry on my first listen. Because it was exactly 1 to 1 with my experiences with the queer community. Right down to the word "Honey" having different connotations than before.
Honey is used a LOT in the queer community, to the point that the honey emoji has been used as an indicator for gay people.
Now let's dive into what she's actually saying with this song.
What a great opener, what does it mean?
So, the muse can call her a word she has a bad history with because they mean it positively.
The muse REDEFINES what a word means to her by using it gently, earnestly.
Summertime spritz, pink skies
Wintergreen kiss all mine:
Wintergreen, like a flavor of toothpaste,
YOU GIVE IT *DIFFERENT MEANING* CAUSE YOU MEAN IT WHEN YOU TALK.
Gaylors don't call Taylor gay as an insult we call her gay as a RADICAL ACT OF AFFIRMATION, We are saying "WE CAN SEE YOU, WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE CLEAR USE OF OUR CULTURE AND SIGNALS. WE CLAIM YOU AS ONE OF US."
Sweetie, it's yours, kicking in doors
Take it to the floor, give me more
Keith Haring in the showgirl DOOR displays. Keith Haring being the artist behind the coming out day image that depicts a yellow closeted person KICKING IN THE DOOR TO GET OUT.
Take it to the floor, dancing, floor shows, ballroom culture.
But you say it like you're in awe of me
And you stay until the morning
It is fundamentally different in her eyes for someone to call her something when they are saying it in awe, vs when they are saying it as an insult.
Calling her gay as an act of community and honoring queer culture is not an insult.
As for "You stay until the morning." Gaylors have long been on Daylight theory. The song Daylight has many themes about wanting to come out. We believe daylight for Taylor symbolizes when she is finally able to show her true self to the world. And be known for the things she loves. We stay with her until then, we give her queer community until then. And in doing so we also provide community for everyone else who has to live like she does. Walking the line between being visible to the community, and deniable to those who won't accept her.
Butterfly Taylor
we need to be louder and gayer this pride month (yes i’m looking at you taylor)
Emily wore a red scarf to her wedding this is crazy

Changing her icons to lesbian flowers with no engagement ring on the first day of pride month
Lesbian flag flowers with no engagement ring. I know what you are.
“I knew it, I knew you.” (The TS Toy Story Song)
And everyone who knows me …. knows you.
When you know you know ;)
Hope all y'all have your eclipse glasses 🤓
So, I showed the TS5 albums to my partner and without missing a beat they pointed at this one and said, that looks like a solar eclipse:
June 5th 👀
The day Taylor's TS5 song comes out
But also.....
Are we starting over from debut TS version?? Was "I knew it, I knew you" meant to be a debut vault track and then Taylor got a peak into TS5 and was like "oh guys do I have a song for you 🤠"
I've spent a lot of time staring at the reputation album cover. So I noticed right away when TN changed it in their insta post marking one year since Taylor got her masters back.
They added: SW II
On a call sheet SW means start work. So start work on 2nd reputation. rep tv here we come!!!
Original:
TN Version:
Taylor’s underutilization of Ophelia is CRIMINAL. It’s clear she just picked her for the vibes. I do like the continuous theme of drowning in the album (obvs fate of Ophelia, ‘sleeping with the fishes’ in father figure, the cover itself) but she literally could’ve replaced Ophelia with like Rapunzel or smthing and it would’ve worked the same because she doesn’t actually explore Ophelia’s story. Ophelia goes mad primarily because her boyfriend accidentally kills her dad, and in going mad she unlocks a really interesting ability to kind of see the themes of the story before they unfold, but she cannot express this lucidly. She knows Hamlet’s fatal flaw will be his indecision. She is a bridge between the play and the audience. Eventually she either accidentally drowns or kills herself. Shakespeare’s use of madness, particularly in woman, is a really interesting way to examine the kind of societal expectations we have (particularly in term of female sexuality) and what defines madness at all. When Ophelia goes mad, she says the quiet parts out loud. Characters like her also tend to bring out the underlying message of the narrative through foreshadowing, which is really interesting and seems like something Taylor could’ve explored really interestingly given songs like mad woman and Mastermind.
taylor swift making moves on the first day of pride month? i know thats right!
This is too much crossover promotion for just one artist and one song in a movie imo. And this billboard isn’t just promoting Toy Story there is no number 5. Just Disney/Pixar promoting Taylor
But fun facts. Andy from Toy Story is also born in 1989. He was six years old in the 1995 Toy Story movie which debuted 31 years ago
1989TV was the last re-record released
What if it’s Debut TV AND rep tour to come to Disney?! Or the Red tour or 1989 tour. They already have the Eras Tour and the Long Pond sessions. Taylor did say in her letter that she owns everything now. And her and Disney already have a deal so …
This is Jessica Jane “Jessie” Pride. And she already has a voice in Toy Story by Joan Cusack
How long has Disney+ been in their throwback era?! Give us the concert films- Please
And now I have one more guess for a record label 13 Cloud Management
coney island / Delicate / End Game / Dress / So It Goes / cardigan (voice memo) / invisible string / Dancing With Our Hands Tied / Delicate / hoax / peace / Cruel Summer / illicit affairs / tolerate it
Another great tiktok find 😍
just wanting to send this around again
Happy Pride Month indeed!
