My dudes, not gonna lie, I was looking forward to cheating a little on veganism with vegetarianism at Blockhead's today but OH. MY. LORD. They have an entire vegan section of their menu and I was able to get exactly what I wanted with vegan cheese that tasted just as good as the real thing and vegan tofu sour cream that tasted EVEN BETTER! If there's a Blockhead's near you and you want AMAZING vegan Mexican food, go run to it❣️

MamaSezz Mac Attack Stack! Second time's the charm. Didn't have any almond milk but was craving mac and cheese. Added some sweet peas, a little olive oil, and moderate amounts of garlic salt. It became SUPER DELICIOUS! Super super into it.

What gets me is that after the dog realized they were kinda scared, he/she lied down so the cows could be in control and feel safer. Such love. Animals are amazing.

Eating my first vegan meal from my MamaSezz delivery! It's pretty yummy, but I don't think I gave it it's best shot. One cooking suggestion was to heat it up in a skillet over the stove with some an almond milk, which I think would've been better than taking it directly from the freezer into the microwave and then into my mouth. I definitely can see how "milk" would have made it "creamier." I'll try that and report back.

I just started to meditate on a daily basis and it’s unbelieveble how fast you notice the change in your daily life! I also practise my affirmations actively again. It’s amazing how much you can influence your thoughts and mind set just by practising positive thinking 💛😊

Vegan hivemind - subscription food boxes?

Hey guys!

I was about to sign up for Hello Fresh’s vegetarian plan when I realized it looks difficult if not unachievable to curate so as to make it vegan rather than vegetarian.

I was looking in to two vegan alternatives - Green Chef and Purple Carrot. Both are more expensive, but Green Chef then ADDS shipping on top of that, making it pretty much out of the question for me. I was excited about Purple Carrot until I decided to do my due diligence and research it… and the reviews were often HORRIBLE! There were good ones scattered here and there but overwhelmingly negative: missing ingredients, confusing instructions, rotten ingredients, etc

Does anyone here have experience with any of these companies? For my lifestyle (read as: anxiety and incompetence) I REALLY think a subscription service like this could be a HUGE help to me, but ideally I’d like it to be vegan AND competent.

Thoughts appreciated!
