  The first bite felt amazing on his tongue, the warm taste enveloping his mouth within seconds, forcing a quiet moan to slip out. “I forgot how amazing this was,” he admitted, mouth still full, but still careful not to drop anything over his shirt. “How’s yours?”

She took a big bite of her noodles, savoring the taste on her tongue. She swallowed before speaking. "Well we haven't had Thai food in awhile so that's probably why." She grabbed the drink that the blonde had gotten for her and took a big gulp, washing all of the flavor down. "It's really delicious." She said before she took another bite. They finished their food quickly as they watched Breaking Bad. "Is it your turn to clean up or mine?"

  A chuckle slipped out of Sam’s mouth, nodding as Mercedes stood back up from their initial position. “Thank you, darlin’,” he started as he stretched his upper limbs above his head, emeralds glancing at his girlfriend’s back. “Do you want me to go grab something to drink?”

"Yeah that'd be great love." She called out across the room before opening up their door for the delivery guy. She paid him the necessary money and grabbed the food from him, thanking him before shutting the door. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed forks and plates if they needed or wanted them besides the chopsticks that were in the bag. Walking back into the living room, she tucked her leg underneath her before getting comfortable by Sam's side. She placed the food before them and then dug in.

  Sam couldn’t tell why. Couldn’t explain why. But his emeralds became misty, his blurry vision studied Mercedes’ traits and he smiled. Everything that had been weighing on his shoulders didn’t seem so heavy anymore. If she was by his side through every step of the way, he could make it. “I love you,” he whispered before pressing his full lips against hers, allowing some sort of respite to his brain at the soft sensation of her smile. “There’s a lot of doubts I’m having right now, about…. About a lot of things, actually. But…  As long as I got you, and perhaps a couple of snacks,” he chuckled softly that made his lips tremble on hers, “I’ll be alright.”

She saw the tears in her eyes and held him closer, slightly sitting on his lap. She placed her forehead against his. "I love you too so much." She kissed him back briefly, allowing her lips to comfort his and vice versa. "It's okay to have doubts Sam, but just as long as you don't let those doubts rule you and get you to not try then everything will be okay. If they get too much some times, that is why I am here to combat them. You combat my fears too. Well snacks we can do Sam." Smiling against his lips, she placed peck after peck upon them before deepening the kiss. The buzzer ringing for their apartment is what pulled her out of her Sam haze. "That must be the food. I'll go get it." She buzzed the person up and waited for them to come to the door.

  His lips moved to form a straight line, taking in every word Mercedes spoke. And for a moment, he allowed his anxiety and stress to settle, letting the words fill his head. “I understand,” he admitted with a tight grin, briefly swiping his tongue over his full lips. “I just don’t want us to be… To be unhappy, you know? We  both deserve what’s best, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to provide for like, the apartment or… I don’t know.”

"Good." With a small smile placed on her face, she started to caress the blond's cheek with her hands. "Well even if we are poor and living on the streets, I would still be happy because I would be with you. You are a big part of my happiness Sam and I'm sure that everything else will come into place. We just got to keep working at it. We will make it Sam and if I have to work three jobs or you have to work three jobs, it will be okay because we will make it together."

  Although the look in her eyes felt genuine, the whirlwind of doubts didn’t tame, didn’t stop. “Yeah, I mean…” He sighed, running his fingertips through his thick locks, raking at the scalp for a brief moment before he spoke once more. “I appreciate this, but it’s just… It’s a lot, right now. The future seems so… overwhelming.”

"I know Sam, I know." To be honest, she was scared as well. She had been singing at clubs since she had been out in New York and she was trying to get her voice out there whichever way that she could, but nothing seemed to be working. She had made demos too because one of her college friends part owned a studio. She had sent them to different record companies, but so far not a peep had come from them. "It is a lot. I know, Sam. I'm kind of scared too, but I have complete faith in us. Like I always say, with you by my side I can handle anything.

  Sam leaned into her touch, nodding, although a sigh did trespass his lip. “Yeah, but it’s like, months away. And I love my major, I just… What if it’s not enough? I mean, it’s fun, but what are the odds of actually finding a job in the big ‘ole comic books’ world?”

"So that just gives us more time to prepare Sam." She moved her face closer to him so that her words would really hit home. "It will be enough. You are extremely talented and they would be a fool to turn you away. There might be some hiccups, but you just have to dust yourself off and try again. I'll be there too, every step of the way."

  All the blond man did to answer Mercedes’ reply was nodding, placing his arm around her shoulders as he fixed his gaze upon their plasma. “You know,” he started, pushing his glasses further upon his nose. “We should find a friend that’s good with chemicals. I feel like I could be Pinkman. Without the whole drama/people dying thing, though. I mean, that would assure me some sort of income,” he added with an humourless chuckle. “Wouldn’t have to worry about some sort of career after school or anything.”

Mercedes got lost into the screen for a little bit until Sam spoke and pulled her thoughts towards him. She frowned as more drivel came from his mouth. "You best be joking Sam. No way would I allow you to be a freaking meth dealer." She sighed when she realized his point with this. She grabbed his chin and forced him to look into her eyes.  "Sam, I know with graduation coming up and the future things seem scary right now, but we will figure things out. I promise you."

  "As long as there’s no weird noodles like, those bean sprouts or something, I’ll be fine." His long fingers reached to get the menu himself, emerald gaze raking at the dishes, his lips forming a straight line. "Yeah, beef & broccoli sounds delicious right about now, though.”

"I don't think those noodles are in it love." She handed over the menu, going through the contacts on her phone to the one she had presaved for the Thai restaurant. "Okay, one beef & broccoli and one pad thai noodles. I'll order it right away." She called the restaurant and placed the order before hanging up. Snuggling into Sam's side, she grabbed the remote. "Let's watch some Breaking Bad as we wait for our delivery."

  "Sounds good to me," he reassured the woman as she stood up, emeralds following her every step with a smile. Damn, he was going to marry the most gorgeous woman on Earth. And he was goddamn lucky ‘bout it. "Dunno," he admitted as he used his arms as leverage to replace himself. "I just want to fill my belly. Maybe nap. Make sweet sweet love to you. Maybe take you on the couch. Maybe eat you out. Who knows?"

She jumped on the couch next to him, pulling her phone from her pocket. "Well you have to make a decision. I meant what do you want to eat Sam. Not what you want to do as much as I would enjoy all of that." She chuckled, lacing her fingers with his. "How about that Thai restaurant that we love so much?" She asked excited, pulling out the menu for it. She glanced at all of the options and immediately knew what she wanted. "I think that I will get the pad thai noodles. What about you love?"

  His lips spread into a warm smile, but the man stayed quiet. At least for a few minutes, the whirlwind of thoughts running around his head. He was exhausted. Exhausted about many, many things, but mostly about the upcoming graduation that was on the verge of happening, barely months away. And it was frightening. “We can order lots of take-outs and do nothing. Because that’s all I want. You, no clothes, food, and no interruptions.”

Mercedes took in his silence and pondered what he was thinking as she started at his beautiful blonde head. She knew a lot was going on with school and the wedding planning. It seemed too much sometimes, but they could handle it together. "Okay then that's what we do. I'll go get the take out menus and come back so we can place the orders. I think I'll keep my clothes on until after we get all of our food." She teased before going into their kitchen and grabbing what they needed before going back into the living room. "What do you want babe?"

  "Not my fault," he added at her words, the memory of poor Mama Jones witnessing the whole ‘reverse cowgirl’ incident a few days ago, sending some heat to his cheeks once more. "Yeah, I can. I went to the fridge a few times. Got myself the chinese leftovers." His full lips tucked into a tight smile, right before he pressed them against on her warm skin. "I missed you too. I feel like we barely spend time together. Even though we’re always together. You know what I mean?"

"That was totally your fault Sam." She scoffed at him, rolling her eyes. She wasn't able to look at her mom for the rest of the day after that even though her mother had just shrugged it off and said that it was natural. "Good, I wouldn't want a repeat of what happened a couple of days ago." She chuckled just thinking about it. Sam really acted like a big baby then and it was beyond cute especially because it was all his own fault. "Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Well this weekend is all ours babe. We can do whatever you want."

  A brief chuckle slipped out of his parted lips, although it wasn’t as genuine as he intended it to be. “Well, that means we can be as loud as we want tonight.” He shook his head from side to side, using his arm as leverage to rest his head. “Got cancelled. I was out the door when I got a text from Will, saying the teacher was sick. So… yeah. Came back here, and rest is history.” His lips moved to kiss her temple, fingers gracing upon the skin of her arm. “How was your day?”

"Aren't we always as loud as we want? Especially with you getting frisky when my mom was across the hall and our lovemaking becoming so loud that she caught us." She started to trace his chest with her finger, creating a pattern against his clothed skin. "Lucky you babe, but you should have taken breaks in between. Can you even move right now?" She chuckled, shaking her head. "It was good, but it's much better now. I've really missed you especially because my mom took up so much of our time with wedding stuff. It feels nice just to be us again."

  His week had been erratic. From last-minute assignments, to rehearsals, to planning wedding stuff, Sam had barely had a minute to himself the last two days, and since his only class of the day got cancelled, the blond man chose his actions wisely. Marathoning Breaking Bad seemed like the greatest way to spend his afternoon, so he sat upon the couch, remote in hand, blanket over his lap and dove right into the crystal meth’s partners for a few hours. It was just… one of those days. It seemed to do that, from time to time. He wasn’t sinking, though. He simply had some troubles staying above the water. For a couple of days, at most. But.. Today was one of them. “Hey,” he replied with a brief curve of his lips, pressing pause as he motioned for Mercedes to lean on him. “Yeah? I told her goodbye last night, but I thought she was gonna swing by before her flight.”

Mercedes wrapped her arms around Sam, snuggling into his side. "Yeah." A bright smile was on her face. As much as she loved her mother, it was nice to be free of her again especially with all of the wedding talk. "She changed her mind. She said that it was such an early flight and she didn't want to wake us and I quote from our after sex glow." She made quote gestures with her hands before rolling her eyes. "Have you been watching Breaking Bad all day Sam? What about your class?"

Mercedes just got back to their apartment, sad that her mother was going to be leaving tomorrow. She had just returned from dropping her mother off at a hotel near the airport so that she could just use the hotel's taxi service to go to the airport before her early morning flight, not wanting to bother Sam and Mercedes. Mercedes tried to argue with her that it would be fine if they dropped her off, but her mom wouldn't take her up on her offer. She said that she had already bothered Sam and her too much already and that she would be fine on her own. The diva called out to Sam, finding him in the living room watching something. "Hey babe." She kissed the side of his face chastely before joining him on the couch. "We are mom free from here on out.
