what's changed in your life since day 1? be as impersonal as you like :)

Positive: Started a second campaign, this one in Pathfinder rather than DnD. I like the DnD mechanics better, but I'm just happy to spend time with my friends, so I don't mind dealing with Pathfinder I guess. Character's name is Chandler and she's a kitsune that thinks she's a halfling. She's a teenager looking for her kidnapped dad, and she has a star orb named Soap that can find things for her. We have a PC who is a chaotic evil cultist and serial killer that has decided to adopt her. It's hilarious watching him try to be decent when she's around him so he's a "good" influence.

Negative: grandma lives with me and my mom so we can take care of her. She has Alzheimer's and didn't want to take any medications for it. She had COVID in the fall which put her in the hospital and that did a number on her memory and orientation. She can't drive anymore, although she still works sometimes on Saturdays when mom and I can drive her. We're about to put her in an adult day center twice a week though. Idk how much longer she'll be working. We plan to throw her a retirement party at the restaurant she works at when she can't work anymore. She and my mom do NOT get along so that's stressful.
