Those men RAPED HER & BURNT HER BODY. She was just trying to get home. EDUCATE AND CIVILISE THE MEN, INDIA AND THE WORLD. THAT IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR. Today the country is in a standstill. People are glued in to their TVs and phones. Ayodhya / Babri masjid case escalated in 1992, but of course, the country has been torn by religious wars since centuries. Let's call it a territory, as a country is a flexible concept. But as a country now, this is our priority. Climate crisis is looming dangerously over the country, not just the country, but the world. Delhi is surely the most polluted city in the world. They say it's second to Beijing, but that's taking into account only the air particles. If you combine the land pollution with the air pollution, Delhi will surpass every other city. One cannot deny it. Just breathing the air is like smoking 50 cigarettes apparently. And Delhi is the grand capital of the country. Like a cruel joke, school children from many schools were made to run on the streets for a 'climate campaign'. Let's remember that children are the most susceptible to breathing issues, due to the heavy particles being suspended in their height, in the polluted city. Sensationalism is a priority but Pollution isn't. Nor is 'Overpopulation', which is the root cause of all the symptoms we are addressing - Climate change, Plastic crisis and Pollution. The system we have set in place, is killing us. A few free radicals might not win, unless the system is radicalised. The priorities need to change. Let's remember, when we join our hands in prayer... towards any 'God'... we inhale the same Air and exhale prayers. We wash our hands with the same Water, the Land we walk on has a million steps by all religions and atheists too. Pop stars, Porn stars and Political stars will continue to find new ways to distract and entertain us. Make you forget about your poisonous air and dirty scams. Days will pass. We will still need the same basic resources, despite all our different ideologies. We have to prioritize. ------ Pictured above is a tree being cut in the middle of Indiranagar (supposedly a part of conscious old town Bangalore) I don't know for what reason. I've always been fascinated by Dragonflies, been seeing a lot of them lately. (Phone pics in low light) They say it's good luck if one lands on you & in some cultures it represents Change, Adaptability & Self-realization. I read up some cool facts & wanted to share : - Dragonflies can control Mosquito populations! 🙌 A single dragonfly can eat 30 to hundreds of mosquitoes per day. In their larval stage, dragonflies are aquatic & eat just about anything—tadpoles, mosquitoes, fish, other insect larvae and even each other. - A dragonfly called the Globe Skimmer has the longest migration of any insect—11,000 miles back and forth across the Indian Ocean. - Modern dragonflies have wingspans of only two to five inches, but fossil dragonflies have been found with wingspans of up to two feet. - Dragonflies are expert fliers & eat the prey while flying. If they can’t fly, they’ll starve. They can move each of their four wings independently from the others & fly straight up & down, hover like a helicopter & even mate mid-air. 😎 - Dragonflies can intercept a prey mid air. Hunting efficiency 90 - 95% of the prey released into their enclosure. There are all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice. - F. Scott Fitzgerald . It was very cold, a day after the snowstorm. I was in line, for the restroom, it was urgent. This spot was far behind in the queue. My SIM stopped working & I was unreachable. I was very anxious. The door opened and a cleaning lady came out with garbage bags and I saw this behind her. After three seconds the door closed. It was very calming, as I caught a peek from my spot in that queue. It was a moment. I wanted a pic. Rather awkward, but I took permission to peek into her tiny room/closet sort of space. The woman smiled, quite amused. . That was a spot for love, for beauty, gentleness & care. The rose could be a from a stranger, coworker, lover, friend or family. It could have been discarded. But it was hinged there, like a reminder. . I have known Lovers, Friends and wonderful Humans, not Criminals. It's never a crime to be yourself, to express your nature..to have love for another, regardless of gender. It makes me so happy that our Indian law has finally recognised Humanity, and the diversity in Nature. . . . On 6th September 2018, the Indian Supreme Court decriminalised Homosexuality. The court clubbed 35 petitions from different activists and passed a historic judgement stating that using the section of the IPC to victimize homosexuals was unconstitutional, and henceforth, a criminal act. There has always been awareness of LGBTQ members in the Indian Society.. Their tales appearing in rituals & folklore. Abolishing Section 377 gives them an equal rights, equal citizenship, the essence of freedom and dignity. The law was also a remanent of India's colonial history, so this move is a confirmation of a changing India, a movement towards a bold and diverse country.💖 Grateful to all the activists & judges who made this possible, who chose Humanity above all.
