I think it's sad how so much of us project our own self-hatred and perfectionism onto God. We conflate our own critical voice with His. I think God would be happy if all we managed to do was get out of bed today, or if we could only do the absolute minimum. I think He would be pleased with all our efforts, even if they seemed small, even if they're not "the best". If all you're doing each day is what you can do, then God sees your efforts and will help you along the way. God loves us even if all we can do is the bare minimum, because His love isn't contingent on our actions. We can feel safe putting aside all perfectionism and just trying the best we are able to do, even if it's something seemingly small and insignificant.

hello everyone big news I STARTED VEILING RECENTLY AND IM SO SO HAPPY AND EXCITED <3333

genuinely feel like a Princess when I wear it, or even I feel like a Saint (no joke I said that to my mum and she just smiled at me and was like that’s a beautiful thing to say and my heart melted)

I bought the veils from Elegance in Christ! They are gorgeous high quality and they came with cute incentives like a rosary bracelet and stickers of events in the Bible!!!! (So shoutout to them ty for the beautiful veils I love them so much! <3)

but on the contrary also terrified that whenever I enter church something I’m wearing may not be deemed modest enough or people are judging me hardcore.

And I have noticed these thoughts are temptations or doubts places by you know who (😒) which is annoying, but I’m human so I’m going to continue persevering and praying to ensure that I can get through this patch with Jesus by my side!!!

But do please keep me in your prayers on my journey through veiling!!! I’ve been wearing my lace mantilla at them moment!!!
