forget about anaris, cyrian would have been such a good agent of fen’harel

i actually wish that cyrian had died and his reappearance with anaris was a chance to tempt bellara at bringing him back to life and being reunited with her brother. in this sense, luring the other veil jumpers and turning them into demons works better if cyrian is undead in some form. it would also make bellara's story about accepting grief and moving on from her regret more meaningful if she did lose him in the first place

❝ oh, rook! hi! have you got a second? ❞ bellara asked, dusting her hands on the fabric of her pants in the exact same spot she had evidently used already. she needed an apron but she hadn't found one in any of the lighthouse's cabinets yet— obviously the dread wolf wasn't much of a cook— and she kept forgetting to buy one each time they visited a market. maybe if she asked lucanis to help her remember, they would have one by the end of the week. ❝ i'm about to prepare dinner and i can't decide what we should have for desert. what's your favourite? i'll see if we have the ingredients. ❞

i will probably default to bellara becoming blighted during the final fight with elgar’nan because directly experiencing the effect of having someone else’s thoughts inside her head, commanding her actions and influencing her own will, would provide better closure and understanding for her brother’s death than simply… he turned good again

perhaps bel and davrin will be the alternate canon pairing here because it’s criminal that neither of them had an in game romance
