somehow I fell back into a kdrama kick, but 2/3 have been not great… i liked “Can This Love Be Translated?” overall, but “Her Private Life” was pretty lackluster imo and the main dude just accepted way too much, and the brief period they were apart was a frustrating miscommunication trope.
now I’m on “Destined With You” and i just really hope it turns out it isn’t just some spell that made him fall for her, and also that he apologizes for needlessly being a dickhead in general and also specifically without any knowledge of what actually transpired between her and the gf in high school… like especially now that he’s in love?? he was just straight up mean to her. and basically everyone else except Mrs. Ma is an asshole to her too and it’s so tiresome

currently finally started Business Proposal, at first some of the slapsticky/melodramatic sitcom type humor was too much but now I’m on ep 7 and it’s really hitting. also: SUNG HOON, ohmyGAWD 😍🫠 and I just got to the part I saw giff’d liked 1000 times way back when this premiered and just when the scene was starting I was like that meme of leo pointing excitedly like WAITTT and it was even better in context, of course
