Hillary Scott - “Thy Will”
For the first time in a long while, I had yellow as my wallpaper. 💕 thanks Hillsong Worship! #thereismore
Dear April, You have done so much this year, a much more than a roller coaster ride. But thanks for the ride anyway, I think I enjoyed it somehow. Thanks Jesus for April. :)

Lord, never will I leave you.

Aware of who God is and what He's capable of doing yet not trusting His ways and promises- this is honestly my state.
But today during my quiet time with God, I have seen Job's heart, weeping and complaining over many things. I choose not to think the same way today. I know God loves me, molding me to something wonderful and that He is preparing good things for me. His will is perfect. I will hold on and trust Him, because I love Him and He is good.

Stop complaining oh heart. Put your hope on God! To remind you again, He is in control. This is for your own good. He loves you so much that He would endure seeing you suffer so as to watch you grow and learn your lessons, for you to experience the life of fullness He had prepared for you. God takes delight in your hardest moments even if it costs you tears and heartaches if it means bringing you closer to Him and a better you. 🌻
Have you gone a day without eating? Imagine not eating for a week. You will end up weak and ill. The same applies to our spiritual life; the Bible is food for our spiritual development. If we go too long without reading His word, we will feel spiritually weak and sick. Why do we need the word? Jesus defeated the devil using the word of God. It is the sword of the spirit with which we can defeat the enemy. In times of trouble the Word of God is our stay. It is food for our soul and brings joy and drives out doubt. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. It is life and health to our bones. Jeremiah15:16, “When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight.”
in life you’ll receive a lot of No’s but never give up coz one day somebody will say Yes to you.
It is impossible for a believer, no matter what his experience, to keep right with God if he will not take the trouble to spend time with God. Spend plenty of time with him; let other things go, but don’t neglect Him.
Oswald Chambers
Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
God created us knowing that our presence would have a meaning in this world. He wants us to know that it counts. He gave us the ability to find our fulfillment through Jesus Christ. Depending on Him is the key to having an abundant life. Give Him control over all. We can not lean on our own understanding. “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6), We ourselves are not the wise ones. It is our God that is the all knowing. We find it easier to just go along with our own answers, and what we think is right. We are not that powerful. He cares about us. He alone knows which decision is best for us. We need to acknowledge Him in everything we do. All of our actions should reflect Him. Our plans should fit his purpose for us. Allow His spirit to live in you. Surrender to Him. Live for Him. Carry out his will; and you will find your meaning.
I found real purpose the moment I surrender to His will. I gave up my rights to be right before God and let Him lead me to a life of brokenness. Blessed be the name of God, the perfecter of my faith. He will be exalted through my life as I wait for the moment I'll be exalted through Him when He comes back. It will be a glorious day for me and for the ones who believed. And as for me, I will fix my eyes on the One who knows no end. Sure it will not be as easy as I would want it to but God will help me not to lose my grip.
Enjoy obeying no matter what it costs. He knows what He's doing.
