Sherlock Holmes, Paul Verlaine and Fagin walk into a bar, and the barmaid goes: “oh, Professor Lupin! shall I get you a pint straight away?”
came up with a stupid joke in the middle of the night and couldn't not share it :D

okay, for the first time in all my years in this fandom, I’m officially ready to change my mind about something.
James Potter and Sirius Black bullied Severus Snape. confirmed by Rowling herself — that is the exact word she used.
okay. so be it.
is this going to change how I feel about any of the three of them? no.
first of all, because it doesn’t change a single word of the actual books. everything we saw is still exactly what we saw — no more and no less. if the author considers it bullying, fine, we’ll call it bullying, but that is ultimately a question of terminology.
second, somehow James Potter, who was apparently such a terrible bully and bullied one of his peers when he was fifteen, went on after school to join an organization fighting a xenophobic, genocidal movement, and died unarmed trying to hold Voldemort off long enough for his wife to save their child.
Severus Snape, meanwhile, joined the Death Eaters after school and passed on information that made Voldemort start hunting the Potters and their ONE-YEAR-OLD child, and then asked him to spare Lily alone — at the cost of her ONE-YEAR-OLD son’s life. after that, he spent years bullying, humiliating and frightening children and teenagers from eleven to seventeen who were under his authority. no further comment needed.
okay, actually, I do have one more comment.
Albus SEVERUS, Harry? after all this time?
rewriting the old scenes of chapter 3, day... 3? 4? idk the main problem is that this winter I had TOO many ideas and of course I tried to reaize all of them, but not all of them were matching with the story soooooo here we go again :/ right now i need to write about Remus's new job. the old one was like from the fairy tale, I need somethimg mote realistic.
done with chapters 3 and 4, changed a few things in chapter 2... I need to start translating the chapters and put them back on ao3, but here I am in the middle of the night thinking about hcs for my first otp from the MH web series... sorry guys...
good God, I don't wanna be the part of marauders fandom anymore, I juz wanna be a part of HP-fandom, that's all. I really tired of this community with all this toxis discussions... that's not my people, no, sir.
Little Remus sobbing "I thought I was a good boy" into Hope's shoulder over and over when he first heard what wizards say about werewolves.
So, this one really hurt
thanks tmblr, it's 1 am and now I'm sobbing too.
the kids are also here
returned to my old fic about 70s and making fun with Remus's hairstyle.
rewriting some old scenes in chapter 3, day... 3? 4? idk. the main problem is that this winter I had TOO many ideas and of course I tried to make all of them work, but not all of them actually fit the story sooooooo here we go again :/ right now i need to write about Remus's new job. the old one was straight out of a fairy tale, I need something more realistic.
that goddamn feeling when you look at your fic anf realise that you need to REWRITE almost every chapter... well, I have no other choise - hope I'll be back with the updates soon!
i usually try to be polite, but sometimes i genuinely don’t have it in me.
people who romanticize — and especially sexualize — Remus’s lycanthropy, friendly reminder: you’re romanticizing and sexualizing an allegory for HIV/AIDS.
thanks for your attention, have a nice day :)
i get that werewolves in pop culture have long been tied to romanticization and sexualization — same goes for vampires.
(but in both cases, neither rowling nor stoker actually intended that. especially rowling. stoker’s vampires are seductive, sure — but it’s the same kind of seduction as sirens: they just want to feed)
the difference between fandoms matters too, and honestly:
harry potter is not about sexualized werewolves.
if you’re looking for that — there are other fandoms for it, and that’s fine, it’s their canon. but romanticizing something that destroys people’s lives, their mental health, their bodies — yeah, that’s… not it.
and honestly, maybe it’s a good thing rowling never explicitly gave remus visible scars — because fandom would’ve romanticized those too.

“You see, we have never been able to keep a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for longer than a year since I refused the post to Lord Voldemort.”
A parade of professors! Who’s your favourite?
(I care so little about Amycus Carrow that in my last post I accidentally called him by his sister’s name. Sorry not sorry 🥲)
Basic Fandom Etiquette Everyone Needs to Remember:
Creators do not owe anyone content. Do not ask writers when they will update.
If an author did not ask for [negative] criticism , do not give criticism.
Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.
If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.
Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.
Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.
No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.
Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.
Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.
Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.
Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.
Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively
Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.
Disliking a fanfic does not entitle you to announce that to its creator. Sending hate comments to authors is NEVER justified, even if you disliked the work.
guys hear me out
Percy Weasley as Icarus
OMYGOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHH OMGOMGOMGOMG YES
Remus never had a broom of his own, so whenever the Order planned a broom-based mission, Sirius would lend him his Silver Arrow. Remus would very seriously circle it, peeking into a first-year flying textbook the whole time. The Weasley twins watched and absolutely lost it laughing.
[Later, that same Silver Arrow was left to Remus in Sirius’s will — and it was the broom he used to get George out during the “Seven Potters” operation.]
I don’t know about you, but I find it hilarious that Walburga Black basically behaves like a huge, absolutely deranged parrot — she stops screaming the moment you cover her with a handkerchief.
