“Someone’s coming!” Charlotte hissed, ducking back into the small room she and Kylo had dragged their little captive. The man, who had no doubtably had his mind completely looked over by the towering man, lay unconscious on the ground. 

Footsteps echoed off the walls in the hallway behind Charlotte, getting closer by the second. She saw Kylo reach for his saber, knowing that if he activated it and cut down whoever was coming, they’d be overrun in an instance. She had faith in his abilities, but there was always a limit.

The footsteps were getting too close, leaving them no time to run or hide. So, in a brief moment of pure idiotic thinking, her hand flashed out, stopping him from pulling out his weapon. “Shut up and follow my lead,” she hissed, before pulling him down by the front of his clothes and pressing her lips to his in a heated kiss.
