Sir Lord Baltimore, one of the heaviest 60's bands and proper metal pioneers . think this is one of the best intro's I've ever heard, right up until 1.15 anyway then gets a bit too psychedelic (not in a good way):

Bought this record when I was 16 from Alan Fearnley Records in Middlesbrough, It was a nice big gatesleeve double vinyl mother. I reckon its one of the best garage compilations out there (or that I’ve came across anyway), all of the bands are pretty obscure and a few are unknown artists and I’m still blown away by the depth of some of these recordings: Joel Tessler - Why: The Checkmates - Talk To Me: The Jelly Bean Bandits - Salesman:
