This!! I really want the remakes and fans to take a step back and think of why the racist white girl is the character remakes invest most energy in making complex. In part, of course, it starts with og itself as Vilde is the only one who has a full fledged out storyline in that last episode (vs Chris who's thing is "being a good friend"). But the desire that og, fans and the remakes have for making the Vildes into racist caricatures and then putting time and effort to justify it or atleast brush over it by making her so sympathetic and giving a lot of screentime in every season is....
