One would think the last year would’ve put the last decade into perspective, but it really didn’t and that’s a horror story all on its own.

So that thing about loving more people meaning losing more people is true

Two people I love more than I can ever express were born on this day, one nine decades ago and the other three decades ago. Both of them have died in the last few years. But I know they’re not gone. I know I’ll see them again in future lifetimes.

I love you and I know I’ll see both of you in our next lifetimes together, we won’t be apart for long. Lavender soap and fanged mermaids, sweet deer and songs that talk. We’ll be together again soon.

There’s a beautiful black and yellow butterfly in the orange tree. It flutters so gracefully from one blossom to another, satiny wings shining in the sunlight. Spring and summer bring so much new life.
