Have you ever even been to the theatre, Hunter? You don’t know what you’re missing out on, and since I’m in this production, it would be the perfect introduction.
For anyone who hasn’t had the chance to see it, tonight is your very last opportunity to see Madison and myself starring in Chicago! The run hasn’t been without its ups and downs, so in some regard I’m definitely ready to move on to the next challenge that awaits me, but the time that I’ve been able to spend with the cast has been an experience that I will certainly remember always.
I also have a few passes to the cast party afterwards if anyone is interested in joining us, so if you’re interested in attending please let me know!
I’m excited to say
That after a lot of talk with the Berry men that I’ll be returning to Ame Cerise on a biweekly basis as the performer a few times a week. They’ve worked out a great deal with my record company and I’ll even have a little merch table set up every day where you’re all more than welcome to scan the silly things I’ve come up with. My first gig back is next Wednesday so I hope to see some of you there!
Dani, that’s wonderful! I can’t wait to see what you bring to the table -- literally, in this case -- and hear anything new that you’ve been working on! I’ll be sure to check you out next week.

There is no way I just saw Valentine’s Day decorations out on the shelf already. Is this country just– just completely incapable of handling the holidays one at a time?!
You seem like the sort of person that doesn’t really like Valentine’s Day unless they have someone special to share it with ... am I wrong?

Friendsgiving
Well, no. Like I said, I’d rather be in California with my family. My other family I mean.
Considering Dani has a hard time understanding me, from what I hear anyway, I wouldn’t expect anyone else to be able to. Anywho, on the topic of Thanksgiving, I’m going to tentatively rsvp for the both of us. Without the dogs. They’d just be begging the whole time.
Believe it or not, I do understand that. I wasn’t able to see my dads last year, and it was hard -- that’s why I even started the Friendsgiving in the first place. Will you be able to at least call them?
I’ll add you both to the list! I look forward to seeing you there.

I'm back in Chicago -- the show -- as of tomorrow, and Blaine's in class and working tonight, so I need you to take over prep and hosting duties for Friendsgiving while I'm away. Text: No! The food should already be taken care of. Blaine has a list of what he needs to do and I’m taking care of the vegan entree. I just need you to clean, welcome people, and make sure that the cocktail hour goes smoothly. Break up any potential fights.
PM: How do you feel about taking Roxie back full-time through the end of the run?
PM: I’d love to! I’ve tried contacting the production staff directly but they haven’t gotten back to me at all, despite my repeated attempts to get in touch, so I wasn’t sure if it was even still an option, especially since I’ve been fully healed for almost a month now. I was starting to wonder if it was some kind of personal agenda, to be honest.
PM: I’m not aware of any personal agenda, but I have to go home for Thanksgiving unless I want to be murdered by my mother. Of course, I’ll still be on-hand as your understudy in case of another unfortunate event, but I’ve just spoken to the director. You’ll go on tomorrow.
PM: Oh, of course! I’m lucky enough that my dads live here in the city (again), so I’m perfectly happy as well as capable of taking over the role. Thank you so much for taking the initiative -- I know that you didn’t have to extend the invitation to the end of the run, and only really needed a fill-in until your return from the holiday, but I really, really do appreciate it.
It’s kind of a shame that as each others’ replacements we’re all but guaranteed not to be working on the same days, so haven’t really gotten a chance to sit down and get to know each other. Maybe we could schedule something next week?

Snow is boundto happen. It’s winter. Although it is poor timing considering my visit. Think I’m stuck to this hotel room all day and there is only so much television one can watch.
Yes the one and the same. I followed Blaine and as the great and protective older brother that I am decided to follow his friends. You know, to keep an eye on him. Have to make sure he hasn’t fallen into the wrong crowd. Wait, wait. You’re his platonic “soulmate” and Sam is his romantic “soulmate” and you all live together? That sounds like an amazing pilot for a new show. I should really pitch that. It’d be great, we could approach it like a scifi sitcom. He has you roped into that whole soulmate nonsense? Blaine’s always had a wild imagination, but a total sweetheart. Nice to meet you, Rachel.

We do all live together, yes, although I have a feeling that may change once Blaine and Sam are married. I wouldn’t want to infringe on their privacy as newlyweds. Anyway, no, there’s nothing science fictional about being or having a soulmate, and it wasn’t Blaine who “roped me into” anything; my dads are soulmates, the founders of the Ame Cerise soulmate cafe, and I myself as well as my girlfriend and our circle of friends exist as incontrovertible proof that this isn’t “nonsense.” I’m sure that Blaine can fill you in on the details of his life; however, if you like, we have several pieces of literature and a drop-in discussion group where you can get all the necessary facts on the reality of soulmates.
I don’t really watch soaps, but you do look familiar now that you mention it. Maybe I’ve seen you on a magazine on the checkout stand, or -- wait. Aren’t you the credit score guy?

RACHEL: Really? Good! We can both go overboard, then, because I may be Jewish but I absolutely love Christmas - I love the lights, the songs, the whole spirit of the holiday.
RACHEL: Most of it has nothing to do with religion anymore, anyway, and a lot of our secular traditions were just co-opted from ancient Pagan celebrations when the Romans conquered and tried to convert everyone.

BLAINE: I might need some. Sam's offered to help a bunch too I'm just not home as much as I'd like and I haven't had a moment to sit with him and go through it. I think I just need to break everything down to top three choices. Most of the planning points have fix or six options.
BLAINE: No, we haven't had any reason to. But you might have a point, we might need to visit her again.
RACHEL: Sam and I could even go over some of it together; he and I are both fairly available during the day. And then he can mark what he likes, too.
RACHEL: Just for confirmation! Not because anything is wrong. And maybe she can alleviate your jitters?
TEXT | MADICHEL
MADISON: I've spent my entire life never having dated anyone while Mason gets to date people because people like him more. You dated my brother first, you know? I'll always be worried that I won't live up to him. I know we're soulmarks but God, I'm so scared. Because I know soulmarks aren't a definite way to get someone to like you or have them be with you forever.
MADISON: And let me tell you it takes a lot of courage for me to admit that I get scared.
MADISON: I know, I know you don't want him. I just want... us? It sounds silly. I'm really embarrassed right now but I've always wanted to date someone and I know you're just being nice and inviting Mason, but I'd really like it if we could focus on us for awhile.

RACHEL: People just haven't been willing to put in the effort to get to know you. If they did then they would see the incredible girl that I do.
RACHEL: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't glad you're all mine, though.
RACHEL: We can focus on us. You're right; we absolutely should. It's our first holiday season together and that's worth celebrating.
RACHEL: I sort of wish that we were together when this snow started. It'd be cozy, don't you think?

BLAINE: The wedding binder I've been putting together just keeps getting bigger. I think I need to start piecing it out and making some solid decisions.
BLAINE: But I've been putting it off because I'm nervous. I'm not sure what about. I mean we were rocky when we started out, we were in couple's counseling.
RACHEL: Do you want some help with it? I promise I won't make any decisions for you; I'll just help organize the ideas into categories.
RACHEL: Have you been back recently? Maybe it would help to hear a confirmation from someone who isn't as biased as I am.

MADISON: Rachel, I mean this in the best way possible, but please don't invite your ex boyfriend to something we're going to as a couple. If.. if I want to really think about this relationship seriously, I can't keep thinking that you just want Mason instead of me and having him around makes me feel like I can't breathe and I'm not going to compare.
MADISON: I'm sure he and Sam and Blaine could hang out for Thanksgiving.

RACHEL: Oh ... I didn't even think of it that way! I was just thinking he's your brother, so he's your family...
RACHEL: Is it weird if I think of him as 'my girlfriend's brother' more than I think of him as my ex?
RACHEL: I promise I don't want him. Not as anything other than a friend. But you have my word: I won't invite him. If you want him to participate with other events or holidays, that's going to be your call.

BLAINE: Is it normal to have wedding jitters this early?
RACHEL: I think it's probably normal to wonder what it would be like, and what might happen given certain circumstances, because it's a big step!
RACHEL: But you and Sam know each other so well already; there's no reason to doubt how the marriage will go.

MADISON: Thank you, ,Rachel. I really do appreciate it.
MADISON: I wasn't. :P
MADISON: Like I said, me and Mace. We don't really celebrate holidays that orientate around family. They make us uncomfortable.

RACHEL: Well, hopefully this is the start of a change in that tradition. Would it be too awkward to invite him along, too? I don't want him to be a fifth wheel, but I don't want him to be alone, either.
RACHEL: Maybe Sam and Blaine could help him out. I should ask them, though, instead of just volunteering them.

MADISON: I know this is going to sound silly, but.. I wasn't actually expecting to be asked, I thought you'd just sort of assume that we were going. I know that's awful of me to say, I'm sorry Rachel.

RACHEL: Oh ... well, I'm trying to work on my communication skills. You did say we need to actually talk to each other about things, so that's why I asked.
RACHEL: I didn't think you were going to say no.
RACHEL: Unless you wanted to do something with Mason, of course. Which would be completely fine! I don't want to push you into anything.
RACHEL: I can be very pushy, I'm told.
