Reposting this little arc as one Tumblr post.
Last year I made a little choose-your-own-adventure comic on Twitter using polls. Here it is in one convenient Tumblr post!

There were so many things Sherry Bedivere looked forward to when she came to this city. Originating from a small town in Maine, Sherry came to New York to start a serious modeling career. It was an adventure that she never knew she could obtain. This was the kind of girl who originally worked in a Holiday Inn before coming to the big city. However, Sherry soon found troubles for herself.
Traffic was a nightmare, she didn’t know where anything was in the city, she would get constantly lost, and there was one tenant who always seemed to be having a party every night. Sherry heard his name from somewhere, knowing it was Othello. The big problem she had with Othello was the unbearably loud noise and music that came from these parties.
It had taken such a toll on Sherry that she was losing sleep. She had gone to her most recent photo shoots constantly yawning with bags under her eyes. Tonight was going to be the last night Sherry would put up with this. After much tossing and turning, covering her entire face with a pillow, Sherry tossed it across the room before sitting up.
The music showed no sign of slowing down, and Sherry was tired of putting up with it. After slipping on her fuzzy pink bunny shaped slippers, and throwing on a robe that left little to the imagination, Sherry stormed to Othello’s room. With her small hand, Sherry banged on the door, hoping they’d answer soon as she better covered herself with the robe.

While flashy and extravagant, Sherry had no idea what it all meant. It was nice and shiny, she could see that.
The best she could respond was with, “I see, I see……I remember our truck used to have a seat in the center.
Sherry didn’t exactly drive around the luxuries, but she could appreciate the finer things Othello brought to her. The roar of the engine did have an effect on her, as she could nearly feel the vibration of both the motor and the stereo. The ride was smooth, accompanied by Othello’s music choice. Conversation started rolling when he mentioned Minerva.
“Modeling with Minerva was wonderful”, Sherry jumped right into it, unknowingly rubbing salt into his wounded pride. “I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time. She asked if I wanted to go out to a play on Saturday.”
This was definitely something to take note of. This was how Minerva got to both men and women. She’d invite them out to something fancy in town, followed by drinks, and eventually her apartment. Sherry was unknowingly walking right into it. What’s more, Minerva was already beating Othello to the punch. Still, there was one glimmer of hope for him.
Sherry would add to Othello’s jealous words, “I don’t think so Othello. You’re both good partners to work with, and I enjoy the time we’ve had together.”
This was what made Sherry stand out against other girls like Minerva. She genuinely was a sweet girl without a hint of ulterior motives in her words. Unfortunately it would be so easy for someone to take advantage of that, a double edged sword if one would say.
He didn't expect such sweet words to affect him so authentically. Othello felt a small wince in his chest as he felt guilty for subtly orchestrating everything in his favour, but he ignored those feelings to save face. "Aw, thanks.", her male companion replied with a smile.
The music on the radio switched into a song that Thells seemed to recognize, his entire demeanour changing as he turned it up. "Oh my god, no way!", he exclaimed with a laugh. "I'm friends with this band— BEAST— Stella— she's singing the vocals!" As he listened more he calmed down a bit. "Oh, wow, I remember back when she showed the demo for this one to me. I hadn't realize they'd finished it, much less that it'd gotten big enough for the radio...!"
They slowly rolled into their apartment's parking lot and he turned to her during the slow search for an empty spot. "You know, she's always asking me if I know any models who'd want to be a part of 'er music videos. I think you'd be a great fit for this one!" He used both arms to turn the steering wheel as he finally found a parking space for him to settle into. "Trust me, I've been in quite a few, and it's an amazing experience. You won't regret it."
“Beast”, Sherry asked, listening to Othello as he explained the band he knew so well. This was also a part of the city and modeling life Sherry didn’t know about. However, she was interested to know what Othello said about them, and even more intrigued that Othello got to see some of their work before it was out.
“You’d do that for me”, Sherry asked, as she couldn’t believe that Othello was offering to show her to meet someone that was so famous.
"Of course I would, we're friends, no?"
After parking the auto, stepping out, and locking it, Othello subtly fixed his gelled hair— his nervous habit that he could never break. "I'll schedule something with 'er this week to talk about it. Been a hot minute since we chatted." While walking with his orange-haired neighbour, Thells pulled out his phone to begin texting Stella. "I'll let you know as soon as she agrees. I've got no doubt that you'll be accepted for the video."
Once the pair had gone into the elevator and arrived on their floor, the skunk-haired man took a subtle breath before leaning against the wall of Sherry's apartment door. "So... I've been curious— You seeing anyone lately?" He never remembered feeling this internally nervous about asking this kind of question. "Because I was wondering the next time you'd be free for an evening out."
does anyone know if i can like block sites from appearing in my google images searches??? i keep getting those awful ai generated things with a hand coming out of a man's neck and just straight up not what i was looking for, because this was in a search for "curly hair in medieval paintings". it happens every time i search for anything vaguely art-reference-like and it's so fucking annoying and it clutters my search results so much. i don't wanna add specific commands to the query every time too, what i need is like a browser extension or something
Download uBlacklist for Firefox. Blocks sites you specify from appearing in Google search results
okay i found one! it works! everyone come get your blacklist 👍👍👍
I made a list of as many ai sites i could find to block with ublacklist, just copy and paste them in ublacklist's options menu

Quick reminder since apparently it bears reminding in both directions: if bigoted people, closed-minded people overall, or your own internalized insecurities misinterpret a queer person’s message in a way that hurts/endangers you, yeah, it sucks, but it’s not the fault of the queer person in question, nor should it be a reason for them to silence themselves. They’re probably as hurt/pissed as you are that someone misinterpreted and misused their message to do harm.
Of course sadly there’ll still be queer people that actually DO mean harm and dismissal to other queer people – I ain’t speaking for those and it’s not the best way to ensure their and others’ wellbeing imo. I’m just saying – not all people will be like that. That’s what I want to believe. So hopefully let’s not put everyone in the same bag, keep supporting each other, WHILE allowing each other to advocate for our own visibility, without having to self-erase or self-censor to accomodate to what haters might say.
It’ll be tougher this way, maybe, because humans seem to like to draw extreme conclusions very quick, but I don’t believe there’s any better way for us all to be alright and stay alright on the long run.

Sherry didn’t know the kind of thoughts Othello had in his mind. Neither did she know how excited he was to get her into his car. Listening to his logic of their destination, Sherry agreed to go with Othello in his car. Letting him take the lead, Sherry followed along through the parking lot to reach the vehicle Othello drove.
“Now, which car is yours”, Sherry asked, as there were still dozens of nice cars in the parking lot.
He puffed out his chest at her question. "I'm so delighted you asked—", began the dark-haired man as he allowed Sherry to follow close behind. Othello's vehicle wasn't too far away, and right on cue he approached it and patted it's smooth, black hood. "This beut's an Acura NSX. It's a coupe hybrid sports car. 3.0 mid-engine, too. Mine's a couple years old, but she still looks stunning."
After he proudly proclaimed the breed of his car, the young male model unlocked his automobile with the click of his keys and opened the passenger-side door for his orange-haired rider. "I got the seats custom in red and black, too. Can't get enough of this baby." Keys in hand, Othello walked around the hood of his Acura and opened the drivers seat for himself. With the two of them now seated inside his coupe, he couldn't be prouder of how immaculate he kept his beloved auto.
Sherry's chauffeur inserted the key into the ignition, the sports vehicle roaring to life as well as the soft hip-hop radio. Othello's arm extended over to the back of the passenger's side seat as he turned his body to properly exit out of the parking space.
Now on the road, with nothing but music to fill the silence, Thells figured that he should cut in with some small talk. "So how was modelling with Minerva?", he inquired, ignoring the jealous knot in his stomach once the words formed. "You two really seem to be hitting it off— seems like you fancy her much better of a partner than me, eh?" He covered his bitter words with a laugh, disguising his envy as a playful joke.
it ok to not be ready
Please spread this shit like wildfire. People go on and sit through the whole experience and they’re uncomfortable because they just want to please their partner and they don’t tell them that they want to stop because they are not ready. It’s okay not to be ready.
notice here that consent is revoked without ever saying no and consent goes so far beyond yes/no!!!!!!
It is ok to say no

It genuinely upsets me that there are people who call this animation and voice acting bad, there’s so much heart and soul on display in just this clip alone
At first glance: ‘lol this is going to be one of those hilariously cheap animations’
30 seconds in: ‘…Oh my god this is fantastic’
“WHO DARES TO INVOKE WXRTHLTL-JWLPKLZ?” “Where were you when the vowels were bein’ handed out, behind the door??”
Certain words can change your brain forever and ever so you do have to be very careful about it.

Barnes and Noble booksellers are working on forming a union as well!

Their flagship store and New York has unionized along with 3-4 other stores! This is happening! People are tired of being seen as dollar signs and being made to work just to get to work more, to survive instead of thrive. Keep it UP.
