Chew your way into a new world. Munch leaves. Molt. Rest. Molt again. Self-reinvention is everything. Spin many nests. Cultivate stinging bristles. Don’t get sentimental about your discarded skins.
Amy Gerstler, an excerpt from the poem ‘Advice from a Caterpillar’

being a polyglot is so funny to me because instead of having a song stuck in my head like a normal person i have the irish word for sandwich stuck in my head
Came across a little free library a couple of weeks ago. It was so cute 🥹
[ID: a photo of a wooden little free library. The door is closed, but you can see the books through the glass in the door.]
Random but for anyone interested, in French you translate it by une boîte (or boite) à livres (litterally "a box of books")
They're one of the best human inventions ever! No idea yet of how you say it in other languages though

Twilight does... interesting things to the colour palette of photos
2/100 days of productivity
Wasn't particularly academically productive today, but i went on a 4km walk with my father, which was quite refreshing and enjoyable. It's been a while since we spent time together. I also pieced together a pattern my mother and i will sew together soon.
Friendly reminder that 'tis the season to spend time with your loved ones <3
We aren't celebrating Christmas this year due to the recent passing of a close family member, but i hope everyone has a lovely Christmas Eve and cosy Christmas 🔔
