“Everything I’ve done up until now… It was all for nothing…”
Baseline sketching for NITW vharacters Mae, Gregg and Bea. Angus and Casey doodles will come too (our sweet boy was taken too soon). My ideas for these characters were that they're all shown as people who didn't really fit in, conform, know what they wanted to be you know? Casey being the trigger for Gregg and Mae's behaviour and the way they dress and look with Casey being a classic skater kid, Mae a kind of punkish delinquent (almost reminiscent of Chloe from LIS) and Gregg the tough nut who wears a leather jacket and purposely shaves a cut into his eyebrow. Bea may be a straight a student but her love for gothic style and music made her adopt the style and attitude, all the while Angus is Angus, sweet, gentle, well spoken and dresses nicely but kind of lives vicariously through Gregg and the way he dresses and acts. I reconnected with this game recently, realised how much of myself I saw in Mae and I felt compelled to just draw them. I'm rambling I know but when you feel a certain way, you just gotta draw it out you know?

Well hello, I’ve been pretty quiet recently due to my Final Major Project for University, I’m currently making a short film (about 3 minutes) of my own little dog and his endeavors to steal a cake from a kitchen table so as you can imagine, animating that takes some time!
On March 3rd this year a brand new game was released on a brand new console. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and I have been obsessed with it, I automatically jumped on the opportunity to buy this game as Zelda has been a big part of my life growing up and the designs in this title are breath taking. So here’s something I’ve been sketching up quickly, a little portrait image of Zelda in her champion style clothing.
Been a while since I’ve updated! It’s been super busy with my final year film going into production and being animated as we speak but I found some time this evening (while recoving from illness no less) to sketch out little Noodle ❤

As well as a lover of food, dogs, art and all things amazing, I also love video games! More specifically I love Zelda. I am incredibly excited for Breath of the Wild and to fuel my excitement I decided to do some drawings of Zelda from Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword! As well as an included Link from Twilight Princess.

This is a beautiful piece of animation and it's only a test? How much work it took to get that right must have been amazing and as a 2D animator I am constantly in awe over what people doing 3D animation can do.

Spent the day drawing out Disney doggos. Now that I'm onto my final Project with University I can upload more work orientated doodles and drawings. An idea I'm developing for my project is a series of shorts about my own dog but before doing any designing I want to get a feel of certain styles and looks for what I want my film to look like at the end of this year.
So I have a dog and he looks hilarious like 94% of the time and I decided to sketch out the random shit he gets up to.

Originally I wasn’t going to upload this here. This was a drawing for a friend of mine, a Christmas present form almost a year ago and I’m glad to say she loved it. Dinosaurs and Pokemon are the two thing she adores so what better to do for secret santa than draw her the two things combined. I’m rather pleased with it.
Inktober Day 31: Friend Today is Noodle's 26th birthday and she is one of the most amazing people in the world even if she is only a cartoon. She's grown so much and I like to think that maybe I have alongside her. She's like a big sister kind of gal, being the same age as my brother and just as awesome, that would do anything for her family. Over time, you can definitely tell how close her and 2D her, they're best friends, compadres, partners in crime and so much more. They do everything together and their relationship is like that of me and my partner, full of games, fun, films, the horror genre and so much more. These two are my faves and my sweet sweet angels. So Inktober is at an end and it was so much fun to do, maybe I've improved, maybe I haven't. But I can definitely confirm that I have had a fantadtic time doing and maybe this won't be the end. Maybe there will be more daily Noodles or daily Gorillaz doodles along the way. Except maybe not in ink this time. I prefer a good quality sketch in pencil. 😊
