i love bettas

oh hello i'm new around here! i started this blog to gain more knowledge on fishies lol and to make some friends who share the same love for animals as i do. i just recently got a betta (his name is nugget) and i am hoping to make him the happiest lil betta ever. this is a sideblog, my main is @staciehanna

Just wanted to mention--rasboras really should be kept in a 20 long or more with a group of at least 12. If you put them in a 10 gallon they'd probably feel too cramped and start getting aggressive with eachother

Thank you for the information. I truly appreciate it bc I am new at keeping fish and don’t want to make any mistakes. That being said I have done plenty of research on these little guys and have been watching them closely bc I read that 10 gallons is a minimum and I don’t want them to feel crowded. They are just babies and are very small so for now I believe my 10 will be good. I’m wanting to get a larger tank but I’m watching them closely right now and not seeing any aggression with each other or with my betta.

planted tanks ??

hey bettablr/fishblr,

so currently I have one male betta in a 10 gallon tank and I’m trying to convince my family to buy me another tank bahah (I’m still unsure on if I would get another betta or maybe African dwarf frogs or even some kind of schooling fish lolol) anywayyy I know for sure I want to do a planted tank buttttt

I have no idea where to start or what to do please help!!!

A while back I rescued a goldfish whose tail was shredded so badly it was nearly gone. He was actively bleeding into the tank when I got him.

Today he is finally healthy enough to go into the main tank. This boy is a monster. The largest fancy I’ve ever seen in person.
