this is not a post i wanted to make here but someone came into the inbox anonymously a couple days ago to send some wildly inappropriate messages. i would just like it to be clear that i and many other people using this blog are csa victims, and seeing accusations about other users on this website claiming they produce "p*do porn" is severely triggering for me to suddenly see nonchalantly in the inbox of a blog i created as an alternative coping mechanism for people who are abuse victims and choose to project their perfect family ideals onto the characters here without senseless discourse about fandom economics, and away from the prying eyes of abuse fetishizers.

this blog is a safe space and you will find nothing but love and support here. abuse victims will not be denied unless i deem the content they are attempting to submit does not follow the contribution guidelines of this au; or if i feel that the content was made with off color intentions.

that being said, the sole exception to my rule is that i will not be reblogging or accepting contributions from people who have produced pedophilic art, fic, or have reblogged pedophilic art and fic onto their blogs.

pedophilic content may include but is not limited to: lolicon, shotacon, blatant child pornography, and any type of content that involves an adult or adolescent character in sexual situations with children under the age of 13. this type of content caters to maps/pedophiles regardless of whatever reasons a person may have for producing it, and it is incredibly unacceptable. it is tasteless, disgusting, and offensive.

if anyone comes into the inbox of this blog again with concerns about users posting said triggering content onto their blogs, but refuses to provide receipts, i will block you. trolling someone about stuff like this is not funny, it upsets me, and i dont have the time or mental wellness to vet every person ive reblogged from. i dont want to go looking for this stuff because it makes me sick to my stomach and gives me flashbacks about my csa.

if you have a genuine concern about anything on this blog possibly being reblogged from a pedophile/map, i will take the claim seriously but i will expect you to provide proof. if you do not i will ignore it and assume youre just trying to start drama.

lastly, direct ALL claims to my MAIN account, @davekind. do not send them here. i check the inbox of this blog because i want to be happy, not to be thrown into a state of distraught. this is the only post i will be making regarding the subject and i will add it to the navigation bar to the side of the blog for future references, as well as give it its own section in the BYC page.

id also like to take this opportunity to extend a hand to anybody suffering from the affects of csa or has gone through abuse in their life. my main blog has tons of resources posted about coping with abuse and csa, posts on how to properly report pedophiles/maps to the right authorities online, PSA's on bringing awareness to types of pedophilia and how to identify when a child is in danger, and general advice posts for people who are currently going through abuse or have difficulty recognizing abuse.

Concept: Dave gets a little older and Bro starts to feel comfortable with the idea of dating again. Dave becomes his accidental wingman as cute dudes at the park fawn all over him. Dave has veto power over Bro’s dates because Dave can not dislike his boyfriends. It’s illegal to make Dave unhappy.

bro can only date someone who dave gets along with. hes a picky boy who doesnt like change or bro giving someone else attention, but hes a lil more mature than the average kid so he doesnt outright throw a fit about it, But he does give bro that "look" that says "i dont like this concept, can we go back to the drawing board and think of something else."boyfriends are all disappointed whenever bro is like "sorry, my brother is having a hard time adjusting to this, i have to split" and its a lil heavy on bro bc he gets lonely too but! he rationalizes that maybe when dave grows up a lil more he'll be more understanding. its just the two of them right now and even though everybody says "well, kids will adjust!" he doesnt wanna make dave unhappy or feel unwanted for any reason. plus he wants someone who has daves best interests in mind, not just their own. its a packaged deal.(and then imagine dave really getting into middle school and like asks bro why he doesnt have a partner yet "damn bro the crows feet are comin in whats the deal", and bro just SQUINTS AT HIM and then dave runs off because he KNOWS WHY HE REMEMBERS and is mortified about how embarrassing he is and regrets being such a clingy kid in the past. cue bro just waving it off, he didn't really have time anyway, he didnt wanna juggle dave and a partner and his jobs, couldnt find anyone mature enough to handle he was raising a kid, etc etc.... all is good. dave is more on w bro dating but he still gets the final say anyway because like HELL will bro date anyone that daves gonna absolutely hate or whos mean to his family)

#betterbrostrider au where bro buys dave his first disposable camera for his 6th bday and dave is HOOKED. he takes pictures of birds, of his room, of his friends, of bro and the stuff they do and in two days he needs another camera and after like.... 50 disposable cameras he gets dave a proper film camera and tons of backup film

i saw this blog and when i realized what it was i almost burst into happy tears. my older brother was... a source of a lot of pain when i was really little, and so i relate to dave a lot in that way, but ive always taken a huge comfort from good older brother figures because of this and this au. its the au ive wanted in the exact way ive wanted it for a long time. bless you.
