"Say that you love me, please I need to hear it."
The plea is unrealistic, an emotional cry Beverly cannot satisfy. To utter the phrase would only tighten the chains on the pair. Allowing Abel into her life was a bittersweet decision. Rarely did she come to regret her actions, and if there ever was a moment worthy of regret this was clearly it. But the comfort surrounding his presence causes bliss to cloud her judgement, leaving a usually logical mind drowned by emotions. There is no question now that she loves him. But easing his distress would only leave a physical ache, one Beverly can no longer supply.
“I can’t.”
"I'm going to kill you."
His words echo in her mind, eliciting a familiar sensation of despair. The feeling is identical to what she experienced the night a criminal’s blade pierced the flesh of her hip. It’s pressure crushing her ribs and causing her lungs to collapse. It’s weakness swelling in her bones, threatening to destroy her before Hannibal has the chance. It’s failure consuming her.
But she is Beverly Katz, a woman who refuses to surrender to fear. Death won’t arrive so swiftly.

Desperation || Will and Bev
He hadn’t expected such a quick turnaround. It caught him by surprise, and he found himself expressing a confused look in his eyes, furrowing his brow. Never once had Will doubted Beverly or her talent, but she was always preaching about the logic and facts, as if her intuition held only a dim place in her mind, suppressed to the skeletonized corners. What she had outwardly spoken was a leap of faith. Even still, she had said it with a look of doubt in her eyes. He saw this and understood — knowing there was still hesitance. She had yet to see the full picture, but the edges of the monster were unravelling before her. Beverly Katz had yet to believe the truth of Hannibal Lecter.
Will took a step forward, taking hold of one of the metal bars in his hand. He leaned forward, slightly, eyeing Beverly with a look of utter desperation. “Then prove it.” Will spoke flatly — withholding passion and emotion underneath a shield of iron. He felt as cold as the brick walls did, as if he had long since lost himself against the madness and mania he was surrounded by. He was losing himself.
Beverly's gaze remained unwavering, though she didn't attempt to mask the skepticism plastered on her features. All senses of procedure and logic provided by evidence were essentially being discarded from her mind. It left a gaping hole, a longing to return to the comfort of relying on the investigation results prior to their meeting. Depending only on the statement Will supplied was not suffient probable cause. And the bureau had already risked it's professionalism by investigating the claims on Hannibal Lecter. But if the doctor was capable of such monstrosities, would he not have been expecting Will to accuse him?
And after all, a mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it.
After a silence of careful consideration, a lengthy paused she broke for the sake of avoiding cliches, her decision became clear. "I'll do whatever I have to."

I get out….enough….I study a lot, and that takes up most of my time. and then I’m here, all the other time, and then— i’m struggling with other things. Relaxation time is hard to fine. So when you make pancakes it’s actually called frying them?
Relaxation is difficult for anyone to find in this line of work, I suppose. I remember what it was like studying. Just don't forget, you owe yourself some free time.
Yeah, essentially frying is the term. I can also make killer Latkes.
"Sorry," Will quickly apologized, setting the scalpel down. His mind had been wandering in various directions, he absently took up the tool as he remembered the one that Hannibal Lecter kept on his office desk.
"That was stupid," he muttered, hazel eyes dropping to the floor, counting the vinyl tiles that covered the lab floor. "I shouldn’t have touched anything. I knew better but…"
He blinked, gaze lifting slightly. He could feel Beverly’s cool eyes on him, and he felt his face grow warm. It was always warm, these days. Something had to be physically wrong, but all his tests continued to come back with inconclusive results. He rubbed the back of his moist neck. “Find anything out?”
"Will," she sighed, momentarily removing herself from the bitterness that had consumed her. Pushing the tools far from his reach, Beverly regarded Will with an inquisitive glance. "Do you wanna talk?" Sincerity laced in her tone, a gesture that would most likely be appreciated but not accepted. The conversations that occurred between the pair rarely involved anything pertaining to his frame of mind. Though she would be more than willing to discuss private matters if he required a friendly ear.
"You're like a sad puppy, you know that?" She chuckled softly, a smirk gracing the corners of her mouth. She never allowed any situation to appear too serious, even more so when the situation involved Will.

Haha well anyway I cant believe Im at 150 followers already. Its been blast being accepted in both the Marvel fandom and the Hannibal fandom. All of you have been super awesome and kind and I cant thank you enough. Half of you guys in the list down below probably dont know who I am but I have at least stalked all of your blogs at least more than once and it just amazes me how much you guys put into your characters. Every single one of you, whether you are an appreciation blog or a roleplaying blog, have blew me away with how much effort and time you put into your blogs and I just wanna say thank you for letting me experience such quality.
