Through all my years of living on this earth, I finally heard what I needed to hear.

I was a child that had been damaged by years of trauma and abuse. There was nothing wrong with me. It was the way that I had been treated by those who were supposed to keep me safe.

I cried so much after that. It spilled out of me all at once and I could no longer hold it in.

I was sitting there in my studio - the studio that used to be an unoccupied room left with mementos of past lives.

After losing almost everything from the pandemic, it was comforting to finally have a space to myself other than my bedroom. I had made it my own.

And I had made it here. Through all of the horrible, nasty, awful shit that happened to me, I made it... and I did it on my own.

For all of the pain I held inside, for all of the tears I tried to hide, for all of the years I was pushed aside, it was art that saved me.

I wish I had more than just a piece of paper growing up, but without it, I wouldn't be where I am today.

So, here's to the future and to the now: a place where we can always be there for ourselves even if the people around you aren't, somewhere where there is love and acceptance, and where every home lives inside you.

i'm bevin and i'm a dreamer just like u c:

some u may just know me as @illdead or have seen that time lapse video of my ex and i getting high or maybe u actually know me irl.

in reality, i'm a young woman who absolutely loves creating no matter what. i use my art as a platform to express the thoughts and feelings i struggle to put words to. my dream is to share my work in order to help others feel more connected and less alone in this world.

so with that, i can finally say that i officially launched my own website! it's filled with a bunch of content that i've created ever since high school and i'm so excited to share it with y'all. :)
