well looks like i don't have self control lol. it's tamie again, the one behind emotional dork and lime ent trainee lee seojun as well as the studio delta trainee min hyejin. jae here is someone who might focus on looks more so i made his aesthetics higher than anything else but that doesn't mean he's completely useless. here's his about for anyone to read. again like the last two, his background and connection page will get worked on more later. got a few rough ideas i'll include under the read more though! if anyone wants my discord ever, don't be afraid to ask~ leave a like and i'll gladly message you about plotting with jae here <3
jaesung was born and raised in busan, south korea.
he has a younger brother and younger sister who he had to help take care of from time to time.
his parents own a restaurant that he's helped out in from time to time whenever things got super busy.
he loves referring to this as his first job even if he wasn't there like a normal job.
so his family isn't well off but they have enough money to survive and splurge once in awhile if they wanted to
at a young age, he discovered he had a love for makeup which caused him to wanna pursue a job in being a makeup artist at some point.
also found that he loves to write whether that is writing in a journal about his day or writing about a story that's been on his mind for days.
once in high school he decided to try out ballet lessons (which he knows bits and pieces of the steps for anymore)
during this time, he became more sure of his sexuality. even though he was terrified, he came out to his parents who surprised him by being supportive right away. he can't say the same about extended family though.
though at some point, he joined a study abroad program which had him finishing school in new zealand where he learned english.
after graduating, he went back to south korea and moved to seoul where he enrolled in a school that specialized in makeup and hair styling.
he discovered the world of idols due to some friends back home but hasn't done well with keeping up with what's popular all the time. he tries his best though. he definitely has a few favorites.
he gets to work doing makeup for different things and loves posting makeup related content online to share with others.
he tends to like singing a bit and tends to sing to himself whenever he's not too busy at work. (he'd become embarrassed if someone heard him singing lol)
he's can be a bit flirty and tends to be pretty confident at times though deep down he's much more insecure than he lets on. can come off as timid when meeting someone new.
tends to get pouty when things don't go his way and is quick to get defensive if blame is shifted to him in anyway (he's working on it)
he knows korean and english but will definitely favor one over the other at times.
a few plot ideas if anyone wants to do them
some he knew back in busan before he left to new zealand. he wants to keep in contact with his friends there
someone he's flirted with a ton whether it's in the past or even currently
maybe a fwb thing?
someone he can speak more english with since he doesn't wanna forget it
maybe someone who he's worked with or done makeup on before.
maybe someone he didn't get along with at first due to either a misunderstanding or just jae rubbing them the wrong way
someone he meets while drinking which could end up in interesting ways
now jae wasn't usually one who kept an eye on new trainees at all. he still felt like he was behind everyone himself and kept to himself when it came to training. sure he saw familiar faces when at the axis building but sometimes he felt the others were too busy. he understood though. they were all training hard to be apart of the next group that would come out. he was ready to see how it went.
he finds himself wandering off to get something to eat. he had been training hard since he got here today and he couldn't ignore the way his body was screaming at him to eat. his mind was preoccupied but he couldn't help but noticed an unfamiliar face amongst the other trainees around. maybe he should introduce himself? that would be nice and probably helpful to a new trainee. he walks over, giving a smile as looks over the other. "new trainee huh? how have you been liking it so far? i'm jaesung by the way but you can just call me jae"
jae knows that he'll continue to contact noel even when he's busy. he couldn't be away from the other male even if he tried. something about him just kept him coming back. maybe he would send a message saying how proud he is of the other or send a gift if he's allowed. that would be nice. he'll see what he can do and if the company will be okay with him doing so.
"yeah? i thought i would have fallen on my face by now." he laughed a bit. "please, let's do so. wanna warm up a bit." he spoke, already imaging a warm beverage in his hands and warming up his throat. "wanna keep holding hands. something about doing so with you makes me happy." he admitted, giving the other a soft smile.
noel wasn’t actually sure how busy he’d become once he debuted, he just assumed he’d be busy as hell. but he was used to being busy as hell, so he’d figure it out. he used to handle school and multiple part time jobs, and he still found time for friends and family, so he’s sure, once he debuts, no matter how busy he’ll be, he’ll make time for friends and family. with all the support friends and family has given him, he’ll never leave them behind, they’re kind of a part of this journey too.
“i wouldn’t have let you fall on your face” he shakes his head “told you, i’m here to catch you”. “me too, it’s getting kind of cold out here” perhaps because he wasn’t wearing a jacket “so something warm to drink sounds really nice”. “let’s continue holding hands then” noel says as he sends a smile the other’s way “it’s kind of nice anyway, holding hands is making my hand feeling warm rather than freezing cold”.
jae wondered what more he'd get to do himself. he knows he's still pretty new with being a trainee but he's making sure to try his best especially when he's apart of his dream company. he doesn't want them to think they wasted their time with him after his audition. plus noel was around and he'd get to see him even if he was busy. he tried to do the same with his own family whenever he got the chance to travel.
"i know you wouldn't have. you'd make sure i was safe." he smiles at him. "you did and i believe you on that." he nods in agreement. "it really is. the wind is cutting through my jacket." he even tried to keep as warm as possible but it wasn't helping. "yes, let's do so." something like tea or even hot chocolate sounded nice right now. "good. i probably wouldn't have let go." he laughed a bit. "it is. so we're stuck holding hands now. don't want my hands to be cold at all."
stevie's a summer baby. he thrives once the weather turns sweltering, wanting to soak up all the sun he can. at least the heat reminds him of home, and stevie's already wishing for a vacation so he can go surf to his heart's content. he won't get one anytime soon, he doesn't think-- but maybe he can convince someone to drive to the beach for a day so he can get his fix in. he makes a mental note to bother jindallae about it later.
now though, he kicks his feet happily-- taking his day off to hang out with jae outside of training. stevie's got his favorite summer drink, a mix of lemonade and juice that's going to give him a sugar high for the next few hours. "it's such a nice day out, today." stevie comments, taking a sip of his drink as he looks out the window. "it's nice not to be trapped at the companies. it sucks we don't get like, a summer vacation or something." with how much sometimes it feels like school, stevie wishes they'd get a little vacation every now and then. at least more frequently. "do you have a favorite season?" stevie asks the other, blinking at jae curiously.
now jae wasn't one that could say he enjoyed the heat and humidity of summer but he always gave him the excuse to head to the beach when he was back home. it was his favorite past time with his siblings and it's one thing he missed now that he was a trainee. maybe he'd be able to go to a beach close by at some point with a friend instead of hoping to travel all the way back to busan. as long as he got to enjoy the water, he was fine.
at least jae is here beside stevie on his day off. it had been a bit since he got to hang out with the other outside of training so this was nice. he had a sweet drink of his own that he'd have to get again if given the chance. at least he had remembered sun screen today. "it is. not as hot either which i appreciate." he mutters as he sipped at his own drink. "i couldn't agree more. i wish we did. i'd love to go back home to enjoy the sun with my siblings." sure they got certain holidays off but a little more time especially during the summer wouldn't hurt. "hmm, probably the fall. much cooler and i love wrapping myself up in a blanket." that could be due to him being born in september but he always liked it better when he didn't have to worry about if he'd get a sunburn.
jae just hoped that whenever noel had time that he'd get to see him. he'd be pretty upset if didn't get to spend time with the other male anymore. they'd find a work around he was sure even while noel had a packed schedule. he knew with his own training that he didn't have all the time in the world like he did before and it was taking some getting used to. he was so used to being seeing his parent and siblings much more often. he knew that was one thing that was different with being a trainee. maybe he'd have to visit them again when he had a free moment to travel.
"such a gentleman." jae laughed a bit though it made him appreciate noel even more. "it is. not as scary as i thought it would be." sure he knew he could do this on his own but at least he didn't fear falling like he had before. he was focused on noel who was the only one that matter to him in this moment. "ooo, something hot to drink does sound nice right now." he mused as he gave a soft smile to the other.
noel knows he’ll never leave his friends behind, even if he’ll become busy as hell, he’ll find time to talk with them, spend time with them, even if there goes a while between seeing them. but friends and family has his numbers, and he’s always a simple text away. that’s what he told his sister, he might be getting busy, but he’ll never forget her, and even though they can’t see each other much, they can still call and text, it’s not like noel is vanishing off the earth and nobody will ever see him again, he’s just becoming a busy man.
“i think the first time on the ice is always scary, but you’re doing pretty well”. “something hot to drinks sounds nice in my ears too, let’s go get something to drink”. “wanna continue holding my hand, or attempt to skate yourself? i’m right here to catch you, and getting off the ice isn’t that far away”.
jae knows that he'll continue to contact noel even when he's busy. he couldn't be away from the other male even if he tried. something about him just kept him coming back. maybe he would send a message saying how proud he is of the other or send a gift if he's allowed. that would be nice. he'll see what he can do and if the company will be okay with him doing so.
"yeah? i thought i would have fallen on my face by now." he laughed a bit. "please, let's do so. wanna warm up a bit." he spoke, already imaging a warm beverage in his hands and warming up his throat. "wanna keep holding hands. something about doing so with you makes me happy." he admitted, giving the other a soft smile.
"warming up?" stevie questions, blinking. he leans back in his seat, letting the cogs in his brain fire up as he processes. "like the vocal runs they make us doing training? it kinda sounds like they're making us just yell," stevie snorts. he's sure there's a method to their madness-- practicing for louder pitches so your vocal chords get used to it or something. drinking water and hydration makes sense, too. stevie does that at the very least. he scratches his head, shrugging his shoulders. "maybe my voice is too deep. should i go for like...a lower one then? what is it called...lower...octave..." he trails off, attempting to remember the word but fumbling.
"i did the yelling thing," stevie explains, blinking. he goes to imitate it, starting low like his trainers instructed, before slowly raising his voice. "there's a couple of other ones, but this one doesn't hurt my throat as much as the others."
stevie rubs the back of his neck, before reaching for his water bottle. after taking a hefty swig, he tilts his head to the side. "should i not aim as high, maybe? what if my voice can't reach that note?"
jae gives a nod as he looks at stevie. "yeah, those help. it really does honestly," a laugh slips out of his lips knowing that an outsider would think that if they saw them doing vocal runs. he's sure the companies know best when it comes to how to train their vocals plus he's already had to run around when singing to help with stamina as well. he tries to do what he's told during lessons and training so his voice is still good even after using it a ton. "i mean it could be due to that. going a lower octave will help. i know i do that depending on song."
"oh?" jae listens as he keeps his gaze on stevie, smiling a bit. he's done that before himself. though at first he didn't like yelling with others around. it got easier since everyone was doing it. "i mean that's good that one doesn't hurt your throat. i tend to do the humming thing a lot."
"that might be best. wouldn't want to force your voice to do something if you can't." he takes a sip from his own water bottle before talking again. "have you tried to sing a higher note before."
"thats dedication." he whistles lowly, shaking his head. the more and more jae explains, the more stevie feels like he should put more effort into certain things. the drive is kind of cool-- and if stevie could try and apply that to other aspects in his life, it'd probably be better for him. "you're kind of inspiring me a bit, not gonna lie."
"cool! what's your like...favorite cosplay you've ever done?" stevie's done it himself, once or twice, low-effort and for more of a social thing than a real hobby. "i'll be crossing my fingers for your big design debut one day!" stevie promises, a grin on his face that he aims towards jae. "i don't think i like, photograph well, but if you ever need a model--" he pats his own chest, straightening up his form with a wide grin. "-- i can happily offer! fashion shows sounds kinda cool."
jae couldn't help but laugh a bit. "it's a lot but at least i love doing it." it's what made him continue creating costumes and outfits. if he didn't enjoy it, he would have quit awhile ago. plus adding doing makeup to the whole thing, he got to make sure his visions came to light. "well i'm glad to know i'm inspiring you a bit."
"hmm, has to be one i did of a character from one of the cozy games i like. it was one of my favorites and i bring it out to do again once in awhile." another laugh left jae as he heard stevie's words. "crossing my fingers it happens one day down the line." it would be a dream come true if he got something like that and maybe one day he will. "really? i'd appreciate that. it would be fun to have you as a model for me." he couldn't already see it and it would give him an idea with some of the clothes he makes. "we could have a mini fashion show. it would be great."
jae knew things were much busier for noel and something about it made him a bit sad. he wouldn't see the other as much and he'd just have to make sure to get to know his fellow trainees much more. maybe if noel had a bit of a break, jae could spend more time with him and they could do something else fun together like this. he was gonna cross his fingers to hope it happened. at least he got to be beside him now though. he'd miss his friend whenever he was busy being an idol.
jae knew his eyes were only on noel at this moment. everyone else wasn't around and he knew if he came back to reality, he'd be embarrassed. "such a gentleman. i'd appreciate it." he gave a soft smile. he held onto the other a little more as they went faster. A couldn't stop the pout that went across his lips for a second before he got used to it. "it's fine. i just had to get used to it." it was still a bit scary but he's glad he has noel there.
it was a bit weird truly, noel had dedicated a great part of his life to his friends and family, making sure to see them as much as he could, now he’s not sure how much he’ll get to see them. noel is above happy for debut, of course he is, but there’s also of course things he’ll miss. he already misses his pets like hell, his sister is taking care of them at the moment, but he still misses them so so bad. he used to spend so much time with his sister, but that he won’t have time for. he’s looking forward to being an idol, but there’s so much stuff he’ll miss.
“only for you” noel responds back before a short laugh manages to escape his lips. “it’s fun, isn’t it?” even though noel wasn’t skating around as quick and doing tricks like usually did, he was having fun here with jaesung, forgetting the world and helping the other attempt to ice skate. “let me know when you need a break, i’ll buy us something hot to drink”.
jae just hoped that whenever noel had time that he'd get to see him. he'd be pretty upset if didn't get to spend time with the other male anymore. they'd find a work around he was sure even while noel had a packed schedule. he knew with his own training that he didn't have all the time in the world like he did before and it was taking some getting used to. he was so used to being seeing his parent and siblings much more often. he knew that was one thing that was different with being a trainee. maybe he'd have to visit them again when he had a free moment to travel.
"such a gentleman." jae laughed a bit though it made him appreciate noel even more. "it is. not as scary as i thought it would be." sure he knew he could do this on his own but at least he didn't fear falling like he had before. he was focused on noel who was the only one that matter to him in this moment. "ooo, something hot to drink does sound nice right now." he mused as he gave a soft smile to the other.
yuwol isn’t quite sure what caused this surge inside him to have more presence. back in the day, he’d much rather be a wallflower, only speaking and talking to others in a gathering when his parents ask him to, put up a facade for the sake of his family. afterwards, his energy would have been fully drained, too exhausted from interacting with others when he would much rather stay secluded in his room.
it’s different now though. maybe it’s because yuwol knows what it’s like to step into a completely different world not knowing what it’d be like, with only one sole connection that serves a bridge into this industry. truth be told, yuwol did throw himself into a lion’s den when he signed up for a survival show having known next to nothing about being a kpop idol. now he just hopes no one else feels that alone in this world again.
“that sounds nice,” yuwol comments. “didn’t they just hold a dance workshop recently? were you a participant?” yuwol asks, genuinely inquiring on the matter. “i did wonder whether they’ll teach you different styles of dance, like ballet, which is something you would’ve been familiar with.” yuwol remembers that fact.
“what’s catching your eye so far?” he questions next.
jaesung was usually was a bit more extroverted and tended to do his best to reach out to others. Though with being a trainee, he found it a bit harder to reach out. He kept to himself much more and focused on training to make sure he didn't fall behind. it wasn't ideal to him but he was doing his best to be around anyone he interacted with before.
sure he didn't expect to become a trainee after doing an audition but he was ready to learn more and more. it was a lot with different classes and learning the skills he needed to be an idol in the future. he didn't hate it though and loved that he got to improve his singing and dancing much more. plus he loved getting to meet other trainees and do his best to train alongside them.
"i didn't actually. i participated in a singing workshop and one for english." jaesung admitted as he kept his gaze on yuwol. "i'll have to do it next time since i'd love if they did ballet. it's been a bit since i've got to do ballet." he had been focusing on other dances so he was all for going back to his roots.
"honestly, there's a ton catching my eye. i feel i wanna learn more about modeling and acting. if there's a workshop for it, i might have to take it alongside someone." he answers, ready to learn how to use those skills to help with being an idol if he gets that chance.
stevie's not a star studded vocalist by any means. he's okay! his trainers have decent criticisms, and they give him a little praise for the improvement they do see. stevie is on the rise! sure, he can't belt for crap, but he can hold a tune for a period of time. that's loads better than what he used to be able to do. stevie from two years ago? he'd be shell-shocked!
but there's always room to improve. and maybe he's been spending a little too much time on dance lately, neglecting his other skills. so he spends a little more attention to his vocals, neglecting the rap side of things and focused solely on singing.
"how do you get your voice to not crack?" stevie asks jae in a joint session at axis one day. jae's voice is a lot more clean and stable than stevie's, he's learning. he just had an embarrassing voice crack that had stevie sitting in silent humiliation for a moment before he cracked a joke at his own expense. rubbing at his throat self-consciously, stevie still smiles easily. "do i need to drink more water? is it my breath control? i'm at a loss, man..."
jae had spent a lot of time trying to improve his voice while being a trainee. sure he decent with dancing but he thought his vocals were much better. it was what he liked doing the most so he knew he focused on it more than other skills. at least he got help to do better and improve which made him appreciate being a trainee more.
he knows he can't just focus solely on singing so he makes sure to up his dancing. he wants to try rapping at some point. he admires those who can do so and after hearing a friend of his rapping in an album he did with his group. he wants to try it more.
"honestly, a lot of warming up and keeping my throat hydrated." jae admits to stevie. he's had his fair share of voice cracking so he gets it. he just researched a lot when he was interested in singing and tried to keep what he learned in mind. giving him a soft smile, he couldn't help but nod. "more water would help. did you warm up enough before singing?" he asked, wanting to rule out everything possible.
“rough night?” hansol humours before snapping his fingers twice at the bartender, make it quick. “you heard the guy—actually, hm. nah. switch that. let’s do two shots vodka, two shots peach. he’s got stiff shoulders, so we gotta loosen him up a bit. … hey. what’s that look for? don’t worry, i’ll take care of him. you know i always do.”
as far as his ticket into heaven goes, that’s his only saving grace. he looks after those he takes under his wing. well. until he’s distracted. but nothing’s gonna distract him from jaesung tonight, so it’s fine.
the shots slosh and splatter against the bar top. for once, he doesn’t make a fuss.
“you’ve done shots before, yeah?” hansol hands jaesung one of the four. “vodka first, chase with soju. it’s peach flavoured, better than coke, trust me.” he raises his shot glass. “cheers.”
"a bit but i'm feeling much better around you." jae muses before he watches the interaction between the hansol and the bartender. he almost laughs a bit as he hears what's going on before shaking his head a bit. he knows he's safe around the other male so no one needs to worry at all. plus he likes being around hansol whenever he gets the chance.
he knows how the other male gets and appreciates he has all his attention tonight. he'd be pretty upset if someone else tried to take it so he made sure he dress pretty for the occasion. it got the other's eyes on him so he got what he wanted.
jae's eyes look towards the shots, already eager to down them. he needed it at this point.
"i have. been bought shots too many times." jaesung laughs a bit before taking the small glass from hansol. "okay, i trust you on that." an amused smile on his lips. he raises his shot glass as well, repeating after hansol before downing the shot and eager to chase it down with the soju.
jae knew that noel was busier than him and with seeing all the other was doing, it would only give them less time together. something about that was a bit sad but he'd still make sure to be noel's biggest supporter. he knew he had his own training to do as well as finish up university so he already had a lot on his plate. he'd keep in touch with noel in some way he was sure of it. he'd even just resort to texting or video calls if need be.
"i do like hearing that. i do appreciate that you wanna treat me so well." a laugh left his lips after speaking, finding it a bit silly but also endearing. "i plan to. don't trust myself if i let go." he mused. "we can go a little faster." he wanted to see if he could handle that. "really? i can't wait to have some after being out in the cold for so long."
noel was curious how much time he would be able to spent with other beside the vybe members once he debuted. he probably couldn’t meet in public with his female friends anymore, could he? his sister had let him know not to get into any dating scandals, and though noel wasn’t interested in dating at the moment, apparently such rumours could still arise. the public probably wouldn’t mind noel hanging out with jaesung, the question just was how much time they’d actually have to spend together, noel growing more and more busy.
noel liked spending time with jaesung, and at the moment he had kind of forgotten they weren’t alone, all of his attention on jaesung and the ice. “even if you do fall, i’ll catch you before you land on the ice”. “a little faster it is” noel says before beginning to skate a bit faster, keeping his eyes on jaesung “how does this feel? too fast or fine?”.
jae knew things were much busier for noel and something about it made him a bit sad. he wouldn't see the other as much and he'd just have to make sure to get to know his fellow trainees much more. maybe if noel had a bit of a break, jae could spend more time with him and they could do something else fun together like this. he was gonna cross his fingers to hope it happened. at least he got to be beside him now though. he'd miss his friend whenever he was busy being an idol.
jae knew his eyes were only on noel at this moment. everyone else wasn't around and he knew if he came back to reality, he'd be embarrassed.
"damn, you make a blueprint, too? that's so...professional." he feels like he's learning a lot more about jae through this. it's nice-- stevie likes getting to know others more. there's a pep to his step in his walk suddenly, mood always lifting in the presence of his friends. "have you ever cosplayed before?" stevie inquires, unable to help his curiosity.
"you miss every shot you don't take. isn't that what the saying is?" stevie tilts his head back as he thinks, blinking a few times before his attention returns back to jae. "yeah! exactly! you never know who's watching. maybe some big designer is out there looking for new talent or something." is that how that works? stevie doesn't know, but it's probably not like, impossible or anything.
stevie claps his hands together, nodding. "that sounds fun! you could even make it like, a semi regular thing. maybe start goals and stuff-- let the people give you ideas or something." he spews off random idea after idea, mind going a mile a minute.
"i do! if i don't, i know i'll end up messing up a part of my idea." it was apart of his love for costume designing that had him always drawing up the details for whoever he planned to dress up as. looking over at stevie, he gives a nod. "i have before. i like getting to cosplay whenever i have the chance." it wasn't often with everything he had going on but he always took the chance to cosplay whenever his schedule was free.
"i think that is the saying. guess i don't have the time usually but i'll be more vigilant to try." he spoke, a soft smile on his face. "true and i'd love to be able to be seen by a big designer. that would be a dream to work under a big designer." maybe he'd get to do that one day though he was pretty busy with other things it seemed.
thinking carefully as he listened to stevie, it felt like it would be a good idea whenever he streamed plus then he could show the progress to others which was a plus as well. "i'll have to start doing that. i'm sure my viewers would enjoy it. i could definitely do polls to see what idea they'd like to see the most as well."
perhaps the packed schedule that was thrust upon yuwol towards the end of last year had taken its toll on him, in its own way. even though he thought he had gotten the hang of… getting out there, so to speak. he isn’t usually that social, so it might’ve taken a while for yuwol to crawl out of his shell again, at least when it comes to being sociable. before he knew it, january had already passed, then the next month, then the next. it has surely been a while since.
upon spotting @bexjae at the end of the hall, yuwol decides there’s no harm in approaching the other boy. the last time they spoke, jaesung had clearly been nervous. anyone would be, seeing the circumstances that jaesung was dealt with. he wonders how the other boy is doing now, so he approaches.
he doesn’t know what compelled him to even reach out like he is doing currently, it’s new to him—the desire to talk to someone outside of his close-knit and tight circle. it’s a welcome change to his usually gloomy demeanor though. “hi, it’s been a while,” yuwol says, pulling his best smile. “how are you doing lately?”
things have changed a lot since he first joined sr media. he's done a few workshops now and he feels like he's finally getting the hang of things. sure he relies on others that he knows much more than being too social but at least he's not feeling like he's pressured to do something he's not prepared for. everything is flying by though and he can't believe he's already been a trainee for a bit.
he's on his way to practice a bit, wanting to get something done before attending something else that he's sure the company wants him to do. jaesung knows he needs to get better and he's enjoying learning more as well as getting into the kpop world much more than he did before.
looking over and seeing yuwol, jaesung can't help the smile that spreads across his lips. "hi, it has been a while." he knows he's been keeping himself focused but he's glad to see the other again. "i've been doing better. finally getting the hang of things even though it feels like a lot."
jaesung wasn't sure what the future would hold for either of them but he felt like so much more was going on with noel. he would treasure the moments he had with him. he just liked every moment he got with noel. each one being a lot of fun and he would miss getting to flirt with him whenever he got the chance. at least they got to go to the beach and ice skate together. jaesung was glad those two things got to happen for them. he'd be upset otherwise. he'd be cheering noel on though and looked forward to seeing what was keeping the other much busier than usual.
jaesung couldn't help the way he smiled upon hearing the other's words. "look at you wanting to be a gentleman for me. i appreciate it. i don't even know how my balance will be." he laughed a bit. "your hair? don't think that's wise. i'll stick to holding your hands."
noel wondered how long his life would stay so busy, was he just destined to be busy? in high school he had a part time job, helped with the housework, had a million clubs to attend and a bunch of studying. when university came around he picked up even more jobs, decided to move out. then came the addition of practice to his life, and though he was finished with school, he remained busy as hell. now, he’d continue being busy, with something new, but still busy, and if he managed to become a successful idol he’d probably stay busy for a while.
“what can i say” he shrugs “the one and only jaesung he deserves the best” a short laugh manages to escape his lips. “but you keep on holding my hands then” he nods a bit “let me know if you want to go faster or slower?”. “i’ll treat you to some hot chocolate later, for all your hard work”.
jae knew that noel was busier than him and with seeing all the other was doing, it would only give them less time together. something about that was a bit sad but he'd still make sure to be noel's biggest supporter. he knew he had his own training to do as well as finish up university so he already had a lot on his plate. he'd keep in touch with noel in some way he was sure of it. he'd even just resort to texting or video calls if need be.
"i do like hearing that. i do appreciate that you wanna treat me so well." a laugh left his lips after speaking, finding it a bit silly but also endearing. "i plan to. don't trust myself if i let go." he mused. "we can go a little faster." he wanted to see if he could handle that. "really? i can't wait to have some after being out in the cold for so long."
yuji smiles, easy and happy at his agreement. she wouldn't have minded if he had wanted to try something else. yuji's flexible, and when it comes to singing-- she wouldn't complain about any aspect of it.
"cool." she hums, clearing her throat as she glances around for her water bottle. "i'd hydrate a bit before, clear your throat a bit," she rattles off a few suggestions, casually doing short vocal warm ups herself as she drinks enough water.
"we could try it the cleopatra way. make a little game out of it." yuji thinks about it; if the workshop is going to be as intensive as the last one she took-- it'd probably be easier on them if they started out attempting. "but not go overboard, y'know." yuji shrugs a shoulder.
she clears her throat again. "i promise to go easy on you." she teases, flashing her teeth in a playful grin. "i can start." she pauses, taking a deep breath in before she projects her voice a little louder. "hello~ cleopatra~" she starts pretty baseline, not wanting to set jae up for failure. "okay, your turn!"
jae would be up for anything they did for this workshop. he was all for trying high notes though since it was one thing that he always wanted to work on. he likes singing and wanting to improve on any skill for it especially since he has to push out of his bubble of singing in private only. he couldn't do that as a trainee.
"ah, that's true. don't wanna ruin my voice at all by starting right away." he grabbed for his own water bottle and does a few warm ups he's tried to keep up with using before he drinks some water.
jae nods his head as he listens, already eager to try. "okay, works for me." at least it would be something they could give them a bit of warm up. he didn't need to ruin his voice already when he hadn't been a trainee that long. "of course. we won't go overboard at all."
a laugh left jae's lips before he found himself nodding. he watched closely, listening to the way yuji let out the words. he was mentally getting himself ready for his turn though the smile wouldn't leave his face. he takes a deep breath before making sure to projecting his own voice a little louder. "hello~ cleopatra~" he let himself go a little higher, not pushing it too much about the baseline yuji had set.
