Scott: "Have either of you seen Derek?"
Stiles: "Bedroom"
Scott: "How do you know that so fast?"
Stiles: "Because that's where I left him"
Scott: "..."
Lydia: "I'm not even surprised anymore"
Funniest thing I have seen in 2020
Ok but legit the funniest part of this is that the cat just knows what heās about to do before his tongue is even out. Heās done this more than once. A lot more.
3 am Andreil wip because imsomnia said so
Will afraid of nightmares, and yet, sleeping peacefully while in the car with the reason of them: Potage, Sorbet, Savoureux
Biblically accurate Andrew and Neil
They complete each other
neil BOSSten
We love to call Neil oblivious or dense for not noticing he was in a slowburn romance with Andrew but how many of us were smacked in the face with the āthat doesnāt mean I wouldnāt blow youāthe first time you read it then of course you go back and reread and andreil was very obviously there the whole time you just get so caught up in thinking like Neil Josten that you also become oblivious so props to Nora for that
A small wip of my favourite French man š«”
Kevin & Wymack ~
aftg stuff we as a fandom do not talk about or appreciate enough:
neil punching the shit out of riko and wymack having to drag him off
neil repeatedly wanting to hit someone but not allowing himself because he was trying to stay low profile
neil getting back from evermore, realising riko tattooed him, and immediately attempting to carve the tattoo off his face with a knife
neil fantasising about stomping andrews face in at columbia
neil being experienced with guns
neil specifically liking exy because its aggressive and violent
neil grabbing the racket at thanksgiving with the intention of using it as a weapon, then asking for it back after
" "Need anything else?" "A clear shot at Riko and no witnesses," Neil said. Matt grinned like he thought Neil was joking and left. "
I got your back š¾
I'm home
Andreil soft in every moment
TKM is one of the funniest aftg books because neil is actively getting hunted for sport the entire time and instead of caring about that heās just meddling in other peopleās lives and playing therapist for 400 pages: telling kevin to start living for himself & and forcing the twins to go to therapy together & passing jeanās number on to renee so that she can talk to him. and it WORKS too. the field of psychology lost its best mind when neil decided to go pro w/ exy

thinking about this again
Because. I donāt think Nicky is under the illusion that his parents are going to support him and the choices heās made at any point in the series, even before Thanksgiving. What heās clinging toāespecially, I think, from Maria, who at least sort of stayed in touch while he was in Germanyāis not a hope of acceptance, but a desperate belief that theyāre willing to try to love him anyway.
We know Luther and Maria were the cause of Nicky being in such a bad place pre-Germanyāthey sent him to a conversion camp for a whole year, and accepted his ārecoveryā at face value, when the fact that Nicky was actively suicidal was apparent enough that his German teacher picked up on it. Itās only after leaving them that heās able to start learning how to love and accept himself.
But, in spite of that, Nicky still wants to believe his parents could choose to love him in spite of their disagreementsāand of course he does. Itās the same hope that led him to come out to them in the first place, when he knew their opinions about gay people. I imagine itās the same part of him that continued to choose to teach the twins German and get them what they needed even when they didnāt show signs of caring about him. Nicky wants to believe that thereās good in the people around him, and that if heās patient, itāll come through, even if itās in bits and piecesāand, in the case of the twins, I think he saw it pay off.
Now, hereās the thing: this doesnāt mean Nicky believes his parents are good people, or even decent ones. He moves back from Germany just to make sure the twins donāt have to live with them, uprooting his life and taking on an incredible amount of new responsibilities because the alternative is Andrew and Aaron experiencing what he did, and thatās unacceptable to him. His parents being shitty to him is one thing, but hurting other people? Especially either of the two people he loved enough to turn his world upside down for? And to use his desire for their love to do it? Thatās unforgivable. And the moment they crossed even one of those lines, I think Nicky dropped any belief in finding a piece of good in them.
Purgatory for One Nicholas Hemmick
It cut Nicky deep to see them at the courthouse and realize they had not been deposed in support of his cousins. To learn that Luther had taken money, an anonymous donation to his church the weekend after Thanksgiving⦠he can't say he was surprised at Luther's actions. He never was a man of God in anything but ceremony. His mother, however⦠her betrayal cut deep. On some level he'd always hoped the secrets she'd whispered to him tucking him in at night after soothing his welts and bruises were true. They were no more than placation and falseties, nice words uttered to a child foolish enough to trust they held any weight; to an adult foolish still for thinking they ever had any substance to begin with. She always would submit to her husband over protecting her child...
