I should probably just not bite, but I'm hoping this is one of those situations where this will result in calm and peaceful discussion.

I don't like movies. Movies give me anxiety. Without going into a bunch of details about color grading and soundtracks, the way movies are made gives me an anxiety attack. So when I say I watch maybe 2-5 new movies a year, that's because I watch maybe 4-7 movies a year and most of those are new. Movies are almost never fun for me, and I know that about myself. So why would I watch a bunch of movies?

I read comics. I read books. I play video games. I listen to audio dramas. Trust me, I engage with media aplenty. But I don't really watch movies full stop. Some people just don't like movies.
