Dream of a Thousand Cats
Hi Mark, as a purely hypothetical exercise, can you ask the Question Marks what they would rather change— “counter” the noun or “counter” the verb? Thanks!
Sure. If we had to change one of the uses of “counter” to another word (we don’t, by the way - this is all hypothetical), which would you prefer to change?
a) stopping a spell
b) the permanent marker of an effect like +1/+1
Teddy nestled into this flowering Hebe and peered at its’ bright petals. It never ceases to amaze him just how many colors there are in the natural world. Go find some brightness today!
Teddy wasn’t sure you could get sea sick out of the water until he came to the Point Perpendicular Climbing area. What a vertigo inducing mix of moving water, rushing air and a height! With the waves crashing in far below he thought about those choosing to lower themselves over the edge with the only way out being to climb their way back up. Teddy was taken aback by such a beautiful space for adventuring and was unsure where to look. He found himself alternating his view from the rocks below to glances out to sea for the whales often seen from the point.

Velvet worm, once thought to be extinct is a fascinating ancient, caterpillar-like animals that have changed little over the last 400 million years.
Don’t let the downy appearance of the velvet worm fool you, they might be nearly blind but these curious creatures hunt their prey by spraying them with an adhesive mucous before sucking out their inside. It can slime its prey from 1-2 feet away, and paralyze it. The slime is also squirted in self-defence. An enemy with a face full of slime gives the velvet worm time to escape.
