This is stupid but. Why do you refuse to believe climate change is a serious issue?

Why should I “believe”?

Where is the conclusive evidence that..

a) anthropogenic carbon emissions are definitely leading us to an uncharted increase in global average temperature above and beyond any variance of natural increase?

b) an increase in global average temperature is necessarily detrimental to the vast majority of biological life on this planet and not ultimately beneficial?

c) we have any realistic possibility to actually stop or even curtail any purported catastrophic rate of increase in global temperature through some kind of reduction in emissions?

I would say some clarity on the precise science.  When they can actually answer the questions above providing conclusive historical data for benchmarks and accurate modeling that actually has a proven record that corroborates their doomsday theories – preferably from independent studies not funded by either government agencies or corporate entities.  When they can start inviting opposing scientific viewpoints into the conversation in order to open up a public dialogue on opposing data and theories instead of shunning the non-believers and censoring outside opinion.

I’m just really tired of government-paid scientists telling us that the sky is going to fall in [x] number of years if we don’t buy into their big-government redistribution and high-cost/low efficiency energy transformation scheme, and their doomsday predictions never actually coming to fruition. And even in their best estimates they conclude that the entire globe is going to rise only by +1°C in a hundred years from now and even if the United States and the rest of the UNFCCC members were to eliminate all of their emissions in the next several years that it still won’t be an effective means to stop the supposed catastrophe. That is not a realistic solution to a problem that I’m not even convinced is proven to be a problem in the first place.  

This is like a bad religion when you start looking at the actual numbers.  The only reason it resonates with so many people is because they have lodged it into children’s brains at an early age through more than a decade of shoveling propaganda into everything they read or watch.

Okay but there is an overwhelming amount of evidence for one side and very little for the other. The pentagon, Exxon Mobil and Shell are all worried about climate change

That is simply not true.  There are just bigger voices on one side compared to other, and they’re the same ones trying to silence the smaller voices.  It’s odd that they claim to have the “consensus” and all the accurate data yet do not want to challenge the opposition voices, don’t you think?  If they are right, then what do they have to fear by proving it?

Preparing for the Purge:

Hello, my lovelies. It is, I think, safe to say that there will never be a way to rebuild what I have here on tumblr over on some other social media space. That being said…I’m going to try like hell. I love you all. It’s been an amazing 7 years and I literally don’t know what I’m going to do now with all my free time.

This space has taught me so much. There is such a community here of intelligent, insightful, caring, dedicated people who put so much into sharing and teaching and helping us all learn. I’m going to miss that because while some will survive I know that the community will never be the same.

Things change and end and grow and become new once again. The community will continue - even if it’s different.

I will stay here as long as I can. I know that a huge part of what I post is porn - female-presenting nipples and all - but I like to think that I provide more than just that to the community. I’ve certainly found more than just that in my blog for myself.

I don’t want to lose you all. This has been an amazing 7 years and I feel that you all have not only been able to watch me grow - but help me grow. And I’d like to keep you all around as long as I can.

Now, I’m pretty confident this whole entire blog will be deleted. The fact that the phrase “fuck me” is in my tumblr username leads me to that belief. But maybe I won’t. Who knows? Either way, I want to prepare by giving you guys my other social media:

Well it’s been good but with the up and coming changes all of my blogs will be wiped out. Rather than stick around on a site that no longer matches my tastes I will on the day delete my blogs and account.

By keeping your account alive even if inactive you allow Tumblr to include you statistically as an account this all helps when they look at advertisers.

Delete your accounts and it hits them where it hurts, on the 17th they will be excluding a huge number of users because of narrow minded views, in the most the “porn blogs” are consenting adults and as the filters allow outher to see or not see these blogs I am unsure where the need arises from to discriminate against our chosen art form.

Please delete rather than just no longer use, if enough do on the day we may yet be heard.
