See in theory a monarchy or dictatorship is very efficient but that only works if the leader is actually good and there’s no accounting for idiot fail sons and evil cabinet ministers. Yeah maybe king whoever is really good at this and maybe his child is also okay but eventually you’re gonna get an idiot and/or evildoer in the line of succession.

Also there’s child emperors but that’s a whole other issue.
