ok, it's been a long ass time since I've really 'introduced' myself, and if I'm gonna be more active, I guess I'll do one of these and pin it.

I'm Alex. I'm a bi trans guy in the PacNW. I'm in my late 30s and I have a beautiful wife, Meredith, and a cat, Hamlet. I work in housekeeping and like to read and run meme and book groups on facebook.

i started originally in 2012 and posted a lot for doctor who and the bad wizard series before it was bad, then became obsessed with pitch perfect and orphan black, then frozen, then carmilla and the 100. I fell off around 2018 and am only just starting to come back around.

you will see me post/reblog a lot of fandom stuff for things like doctor who, the last of us, pokemon, marvel, game of thrones, 9-1-1, wicked. stuff that will be coming once I get further into the series will probably be yellowjackets, resident alien, the pitt. you will see animals, humorous text posts, memes. there may be some politics. I am a leftist. there'll likely be some mental health blogging, but I've moved past any kind of self harm blogging that I did ten, twelve years ago bc I'm in a much better place. I do have bipolar, ptsd, ocd, adhd and paranoia, so I may post on any of that.

most of my ships are queer, like bechloe and clexa and hollstein are longtime favorites while buddie and gelphie are new faves, but I do have a few het ships, like brennan/booth, bobby/athena, maddy/chimney, fiyerba, the doctor/river (though that's flipped when it's 13/river) and the doctor/rose. I love the thropple from Wicked the movie.

I’m just saying if Daniel Radcliffe, the literal protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise since the age of ten years old, was able to disavow JK Rowling and move on from the HP universe then actually what the fuck is anyone else’s excuse. There is no one else on the planet who can say their entire childhood was HP more than that guy and he still cared about trans people more than the average tumblr user who says “we’re protesting by making all her characters queer and trans!!” like you can do better. You should do better.

The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.

Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?

From the moment of his arrest, even left-of-center media has been presuming his guilt without examining anything (e.g. calling him "the killer" instead of "alleged" or "accused") and then when I say he didn't do it, the nearest person chimes in with some quip that tells me they think he did do it but should go free anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would have the same attitude if he had done it. But he didn't. It makes me feel like the only sane person in the world, even among my staunchly leftist friends.
