This is a big message for me today.
All prayers are answered, but sometimes patience is required
Thank you Lord that you work despite my faults.
… whatever you do, do all to the glory of God —1 Corinthians 10:31
Are you walking by faith or sight today? In other words, are you choosing to believe God no matter what your circumstances look like, or are you making decisions and focusing your mind on what you can see. As believers, we have to remember that we aren’t just subject to this natural realm–what we can see, hear, touch, and smell. No, we have access to the unseen, supernatural realm where all the promises and blessings of God are stored. When you choose to walk by faith, you are opening a door from the natural realm to the supernatural realm and drawing the blessings of God into your life.
Remember: with God seeing isn’t believing; believing is seeing! Throughout the day, begin to declare, “Father, I want to thank You that my payday is coming. You said no good thing will You withhold because I walk uprightly. I believe even right now You’re arranging things in my favor.” As you walk and live by faith, you will live a life pleasing to God. You’ll see His blessing and favor in abundance, and you’ll fulfill the destiny He has in store for you!

Patience is a trait I need to continue praying for
A favourite prayer. Love the number plates

My earnest prayer
I love the names God is so wonderfully multifaceted that He has many names that communicate His capabilities and character. To name just a few, He is: Elohim, the God above all gods Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides El-Shaddai, the almighty God Jehovah Rapha, our healer God Jehovah Shalom, our God of peace Jehovah Shamma, our God who is present Jehovah Yahweh, our loving, covenant-keeping God It’s no wonder the writer of Proverbs encourages us to remember that “the name of the Lord is a strong tower,” that in times of need God-fearing people run to it and “are safe” (Prov. 18:10). When unwelcome circumstances threaten you and you feel vulnerable, reflect on one of God’s names. Be assured—He will be faithful to His name.
Remember that names in the Bible describe a person’s character. So it’s good to remember God’s name if we are to think big about who He is. This quote is from my "Our Daily Bread" devotional.
Psalm 69:13-18New International Version (NIV) 13 But I pray to you, Lord, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation. 14 Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters. 15 Do not let the floodwaters engulf me or the depths swallow me up or the pit close its mouth over me. 16 Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love; in your great mercy turn to me. 17 Do not hide your face from your servant; answer me quickly, for I am in trouble. 18 Come near and rescue me; deliver me because of my foes.
My prayer for today, Rescue me oh Lord. Amen

Now there's a thought!
Some thoughts for how to be happy from "Our Daily Bread" devotional
Interesting "rules" for happiness from Our Daily Bread. Although one must always remember that Christianity is a relationship with the trinity not a to do list in an attempt to please God. Still worth trying
