all you need is love. ❤️ i decided to take a break from my teacher observations today at this cozy little cafe. i needed to clear my head. every time i make a post about my spiritual growth and changes that pertain to changes i’m going through…people seem to get the idea that i’m going to be leaving mike. so, i’m gonna take this moment to express how incredibly silly those assumptions are when applied to our path. mike and i have evolved our marriage into an open, shapeshifting, life partnership that can be reimagined as either one of us takes steps towards becoming more aligned with who we believe we are supposed to become in each moment. this is NOT an easy path, but one that has been revealed to us as necessary. it may be counterintuitive to people who still conform to monogamous, heteronormative views of relationships. let me be clear - we are co-creating a model of a relationship that is flexible, honors abundance, compels unconditional love as a foundation for growth, and literally is shaping and shifting each of us as we endure each day. we’re happier than ever, we’re each becoming aware that we don’t need each other to feel whole. we are enough in and of ourselves. and it’s this understanding that demands i show up and honor his path. and he does the same for me. we provide safe, loving spaces for growth and sit with each other when we’re low and reflect and process together. we are more than fine. we truly feel empowered through this casting off of conditions for living one another. so please, your concern for the health of our relationship feels superficial and misguided. phrase things positively to us - ask us what growth we’re working on…ask us if we learned anything new today…but please stop throwing shade, y’all. we’re just wanting shine love + light these days. 🙏🏽 (at Ellie’s) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpSHQTKB2tWgnqpVdzdXIbYGhp1uPQJ7EKhAMw0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1kxvs3ttljtqn
