basically i have good grades in these classes but only because they're really easy and i don't feel like i'm actually learning anything because i don't feel challenged. or in the case of the it 100 class i'm genuinely not learning anything because it's a theoretical business class about cloud technology

deeply concerned i'm going to be struggling a lot if i get a job with this degree because of a mixture of my teachers not being super effective (both in the IT 100 class being actually completely irrelevant and pointless to anyone unless you're specifically getting into cloud careers, not in anti-intellectual sort of way, and the linux professor struggling because he admitted this class is the first time the class hasn't been asynchronous) and because of my hardened ability to speed through my work just to get it turned in regardless of whether or not i'm understanding what i'm doing. you tell me to put in a command in the command line and to paste the output for my homework, i am doing just that. do i understand what this command did, no because you're not asking me

also i have adhd but even if that wasn't a problem i still don't think i'm effectively learning in these classes simply because of the style of teaching, i don't think paying more attention would give me a deeper understanding of these commands because 90% of the homework and classwork is just "input a command and then record its output", very rarely does it ask you directly what that command did so a ton of it is just copy pasting

basically he's been writing the last two assignments with the use of chatgpt and it flat out wrote out a command that didn't even work which is cool but what i'm actually trying to complain about is that colordiff doesn't work on my end and i don't know how to troubleshoot it because the pages he linked us to about it don't really explain anything and it was the one question i couldn't put down an answer for. that's it that's all i'm complaining about
