Been rereading the Braunsol divorce arc and I've been wondering...
What if YOU 🫵‼️ were in Kim's shoes and had to choose? Would you stay with Braun, living a fulfilling life working on the talk show alongside kind and supportive coworkers, a caring boss, and a workplace that caters to your every need... or would you escape with Chief Lizard, set the entire studio ablaze, and give up that comfortable life in exchange for your independence and freedom?
The answer might be obvious but honestly... Life hard and scary, talk show fun and bright + im not as smart as Kim, I'd die out there quicker than those folks on the train
Mostly about the main cast whereabouts after the timeskip
So
Thanks to Baek Saheon we know some people either resigned or went missing.
Mostly resigned though.
Just theorising which is which!
Lee Jaheon: okay so he is not a chief anymore, that's expected. It would be cool if he became a director or something like that, but since it's been three years and Cheong Dallae probably already came back with vengeance, he might've been demoted, even more likely not even on D Team anymore, perhaps slotting in another section.
Lee Seonghae: I'd like to think that her life stayed unchanged, probably still trying to get her points back, since she already had an idea what to use her wish ticket for. There is a possibility that she might've gone missing... but I'm not a fan of the idea, I think she wouldn't be from an Elite team if she just went missing so easily (Let's ignore the J3 shaped elephant for a moment) She could've resigned, but I'd have no idea what she would do afterwards. There is no way she would be compatible to work for the Bureau, not when she cherry picks whose lives are more important than others based on if they are a good person or not... I mean, it's something the Bureou also does sometimes on certain occasions, but she is way more extreme about it imo
SPEAKING OF
J3: I think his situation might've become slightly harsher but i feel like his life didn't change much, he was already at the bottom, barely a person from the company's perspective, so 🤷
Park Minseong: he was doing horribly by the end of Part 3. He was a complete mess and now that the Fox Counseling Room is closed and the Segwang Special City incident has been resolved, he has nowhere left to go where he can truly feel like himself. I'm worried he might've thrown himself into a different darkness, trying to recreate that same feeling, and ended up going missing. Even worse, what if he became some kind of lab rat instead!! I just can't see a positive outcome for Park Minseong...
Kang Yihak: I KNOW she only participated in one mission and wasn't even that involved BUT she is so funny i can't not include her... Anyway she is so missing, but i don't think she is doing that bad wherever she is. She is somehow the most unlucky/lucky character and her greed will be her doom and saviour. We will see her again i am 100% sure.
Eun Haje: we have no idea why she even stayed in the first place and helped Ho Yuwon out, but now that the whole project fell apart, why would she stay any longer? She is a professional reporter, she could easily get another job... But i can see her helping the Bureau out a bit as an informant. She is not a bad person, she was never ruthless like some other Daydream employees, so It would be nice if she stayed in contact with them. Also there is no way her and Bronze didn't form some sort of friendship (or more who knows) during their stay on the train.
Go Youngeun: this is probably the most certain thing we know, my girl resigned and went to work for the Bureau and i really hope she is thrivinggg
It might be totally wrong ofc, this is just for funzies
I didn't say a thing about the agents because i literally have no idea, we can only trust Lee Gyeol's words and hope they're doing fine
Been rereading some old chapters and 🤔 do we ever get an explanation as to why Braun was so out of it in the beginning? I don't remember seeing him like that ever again.
It's probably an effect of the Friend summoning ritual but it's still weird...
If they already explained it at some point i apologise lmao, my memory is really bad, that's why i reread often
While reading today's chapter (388), i could only think about how fun gsgw would be as an rpg horror game, especially with the [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER] new glasses, it seemed such a game-like mechanic... So fun, despite the side effects.
Anyway, that gave me the idea of drawing a fake rpg maker/style screenshot for funzies, but its still wip.
Also i am severely struggling at drawing Lee Jaheon, i swear ive never drawn a lizard before, I don't understand the shape of their head, and the manhwa doesn't help much, APOLOGIES.
I do still like how it's coming out, especially Kim, i tried using the manhwa as a reference so it's very different from my usual artstyle (maybe even better?)
Rereading some part 1 arcs (coff coff, Segwang Technical High School coff coff) makes you catch so much foreshadowing I never really noticed the first time... This novel is such a fun reread, I bet it's going to be even better after part 3
I'd love to buy more gsgw chapters but do you need to have a korean phone number to do so? Or am i just not understanding what the website is asking me </333
I wonder if Kim Soleum has to die in order to wake up in his own world, like how it happened in Segwang Special City...
Mostly because i am very confused by the time frame and have no idea how waking up would work...
Time in the ghost story world is apparently three times slower than in the og world.
But he's been in the ghost story world for 3/4ish days now? Maybe more
Wouldn't a full day be over in his og world? Or does the time slow down/stops the second he leaves it? Because when he returned home at the end of part 2, no time apparently passed and everything was in order.
But if time actually stops, would his waking mechanism even work?
I'm just blabbing here because i am perplexed, for sure there is stuff I'm missing or got wrong ueueu
