Why I Don't Fully Support #MeToo

Before you all get your thongs in a bunch, listen to me and my reasons. Sexual assault, rape, incest, forced sodomy, and all legal and moral crimes associated with forced sex acts are reprehensible. However, my main reason has absolutely nothing to do with sex. It has everything to do with attention. The situation in Crystal Lake, IL further fuels my distrust in some who claim to be victims. JoAnn Cunningham came off as a mother genuinely concerned for the safety and well-being of her now late son AJ Freund. All while sobbing on national TV for AJ to come home, she and her husband, Andrew Freund, beat AJ tti death and hid his body in a nearby forest preserve. If a human being is capable and willing to lie about their first-born son running away from home, then a human being is more than capable of lying about being a sex crimel victim. As someone whip has been falsely accused of sexual misconduct, maybe I'm a bit jaded, but that's how I see it...

Since I've Been Gone...

Darnn, Tumblr! It's been a while since I last posted. Here are a few reasons why I've been MIA:

- On September 11, 2018, a semi truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and had his truck crash into my apartment bedroom. Unfortunately, I was just waking up and felt the impact of the crash. After all was said and done, I broke my spine, all of my ribs, my shoulder, my neck, I'm blind in my left eye, and I'm paralyzed from the waist down.

- For the longest time, my mind was playing tricks on me. For a month, I thought my hospital doubled as a brothel. I developed bed sores because the bed I was initially assigned was too small. I developed anemia. I would cry at the stupidest shit: not getting lemon juice for my tea.

- As of right now, 1/31/19, I'm still in the hospital. I'm getting my strength back slowly, but surely. And, oddly enough, I have a newfound appreciation for cheese and crackers. I used to look at my mother sideways whenever she ate it. Now, I chose it over the PB&J.

I don't know if I'll ever walk again. If I do, then I will continue to give what I can of myself...
