It was just gonna be a sketch and I was gonna leave it completely white, but I color it more. Give it the old 1940s-50s style, somewhat. I like to think girl would read to Bandage from time to time. Probably reading to him some nice adventure books or whatever, Since he probably can’t see very well due to his injury.

Hello everyone!! Apologies for the lack of updates. After the release of the 5th chapter (which I consider my favorite so far) I took a break to focus more on art and other projects. I ended up completing 22 art trades, and started working on a Little Nightmares OC centred AU in the meantime called The Waydrifters ( @waydrifters-warren ) I'd love it if you guys checked it out since Low and Alone will be making their own appearances!!

Back to SYN:IR, the first draft for the sixth chapter is finished, but unfortunately the weather of all things has made it actually impossible to focus (currently 36°c) so I've been trying to take it slow for now.

On the topic of taking it slow, the monthly updates might be even slower when June starts, since I will be starting college by then. I will however try to stay consistent and within my own set deadlines after chapter 6 is up :] Maybe once every two months? Not too sure but whatever, I do this for fun and setting goals really helps me personally!!

I'm not sure if I will ever be able to elaborate on these small character details of my AU in my fic, so I wanted to share my brain worms here.

Low is associated with White Heathers, and Alone is associated with Desert Marigolds.

Just like the flower that Alone represents, she is resilient even in harsh environments. She is a very hardy girl who is not likely to concede toward anything. Paired with her bright-eyed optimism, she thrives in the face of challenges and adversity.

Low's reasoning is a bit more personal. Low wears a necklace of a White Heather that Alone made for him. Heathers represent good luck, protection, and peace in Scottish folklore. It is a symbol of Alone's care, and who Low wants to become as a symbol for New Dream, he is a bearer of fortune, a protector, and a leader who upholds the safety of his fellow villagers above all else.

i have a modern au where alone acc exists as a person who inspired low to dream up alone as an imaginary friend in the first place 😳 and who in real life actively encourages him to step out of his comfort zone
