How do you draw heads/anatomy zso well? Any tips/tricks?
im mostly a self taught artist who is a bio major lol so i dont have a lot of experience in being in a class that teaches the basics. I view a lot of basic features as shapes which can help me become a lot more focused with details later on. also i was doodling turbo when i looked at this ask so he became a victim of the visualization of this mental mapping i do. to practice i draw random people when im out in public because it helps me visualize on how real bodies work. I've also found that in cartoons such as old disney and warner brothers their toons adhere to more liberal forms of anatomy, but i think it really helps in visualizing how to map things out and also practice different exaggerated expressions ^__^
