Sofi Stadium BTS PTD Concert
I am back from my weekend in Cali and from my BTS concert at Sofi! In the words of TaehyungĀ āHOLY SHITāĀ
This one was the most frustrating concert Iāve ever attended! I know, I know, I should be grateful for having to attend and really, I am forever grateful to have been able to get a ticket, go to california with this pandemic going on. But, oh my god! My sister and I arrived at 3pm and walked around to see what was around then decided to jump in line for some merch. Waited 2 hours but totally expected.Ā
Got our army bombs and went to find out line to get into the stadium. Eventually, we found our gigantic ass line and waited from 5 to 7:00pm. Show starts at 7:30. Thereās still so so so so so sooooo many people still waiting to get in on our side. Now Iām not sure what was going on with our check in lines but holy shit! All the other check in places had already cleared their area and then thereās us. So 7:30 rolls by then 7:45. So on so forth. Itās almost 8. Still, line going in is slow as hell and then you head the show starting.Ā
OOOOOH!! you have to be kidding me! We hear the introĀ āONā and now were seriously all in panic! Line is still not moving but shows starting already! I thought thereās no freaking way they will start the show without all the people inside. (They did) Around 8 something a person comes by our line and tells us to go over to another area to check in so now they got half the line running to another entrance! The shows started, everyones angry and upset. People yelling at us and the other armys that we were waiting with. Yes, I understand youāve been waiting in line for two hours but you know what, so have we. Yes, I understand that there was a mix up with the lines. I get it.Ā
But thereās no need to scream and shout, okay? We all want to get in and see our boys, we all want to make it on time. No need to add oil to the flames, you know? We made it to the next entrance over, which was quite the distance. They checked tickets, and vaccine cards and all that other good stuff. But now, we have to go find our seats. At this point we already missed the intro songs and introductions. I thoughtĀ āyou have got to be joking!āĀ
It was such a horrible feeling. I donāt know what was up with our check in but it was moving to damn slow! Every other check in area was already cleared but why just us? I wanted to cry because I wanted to be there for the boys from start to finish but I guess fate had other plans for us. Anxiety, anger and sadness are the three feelings you donāt want to mix.Ā
If there is a next time, Iām either gonna have to show up earlier or the place hosting the concert needs to know how to time things because 5:30 to start letting everyone in is not enough time. 5:30 the doors open, 7:30 show start, is not enough time to let in about 70,000 people. Something needs to change for better entrance for the future. Iām not anyone important to change it but I just wanted to voice out my frustration for real. Weāve waited two years to see our boys and someone fucked up somewhere for us and the other armys that were outside with us. I was getting to write a letter to Mr. Sofi Stadium (white chicks reference) lol
On a positive note, I had an amazing time for the rest of the night. They never disappoint and I look forward to any upcoming tours if this stupid pandemic allows. I will try my best to prepare better as well.Ā
If you attended DAY 2 PTD Concert in LA, I would definitely love to hear your experience that night! Did you have a problem with your entrance line? Was there something that could be better? Overall, it was a good night after that. I saw a lot of tiddies. I donāt want to say who...jungkook... jimin...Ā
so yeah... I missed the feeling being around other armys. yall were so cute with your outfits and shit! I could never! Every single one of yall are adorable! My heart was so happy to see ARMYS again! Every person we talked to was so nice and kind and they were giving away free shit! like damn! who does that???Ā
Anyway, this is getting too long. I just wanted yall to know about my night! *sighs* Good night Army!! Letās hope and pray to see our boys again in 2022!Ā
