It started very simply, really. You were both MCs at M!Countdown, ate sandwiches together, a few flirty remarks here and there, and you realized how much the two of you clicked.
He was so easy and comfortable to be with, sharing the same sense of humor as him.
It felt as if you knew Jay all your life.
You shared a lot of interests, and the few things that you didn't have in common, you were willing to learn about them and even give it all a try.
You weren't the gamer type, but he somehow convinced you to try playing league of legends.
And that's how all the sneaking around started.
Wearing thick disguises, the two of you met up just so he could take you to the cyber cafe and teach you how to play.
If felt great to be with him, everything felt natural, so normal.
He'd laugh and tease you when you use the controls wrong and you'd send him a pout and glare.
His face would just literally UwU.
The two of you would go walking around the city with corndogs in your hands, just chillin'
From then on, the two of you went out whenever both of you had free time.
Jay would be so exhausted from dance practice and then he'd check his phone only to see you sending him memes.
He'd crack up instantly, his mood lightening up.
The other members would tease him to infinity. But Jay just can't stop grinning from ear to ear.
Throughout the day, you'd send motivating messages to each other
"Good luck on your performance today, fighting!"
"I'll make sure to cheer you on today, you better do your best!"
It was such a wholesome friendship.
And by the time Jay realizes it, he had fallen for you way too deep.
It was 11pm, you and the girls had just got back to your dorm after an award show when your phone buzzed.
"Hey, can I come over? I have something to tell you real quick." it was a message from Jay.
You found it odd, because you'd just seen him at the award show and he barely even spared you a glance.
Which actually hurt you more than you'll ever admit.
You text him a simple 'okay.' and then change into your normal clothes, also removing your makeup in the process.
20 minutes later you hear a knock on the door and your heart immediately skips a beat.
"I'll get it." You announce, tho none of the girls were really paying attention because it's either they were too busy on their SNS accounts, or sleeping.
You open up to see Jay, with a small bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate truffles.
"Hey, congratulations on winning best song of the year." He said, offering you his gifts.
"And congratulations to you too, Mr. Rookie of the year." You said proudly.
You invited him in, and you could've sworn you saw some of your co-members peeking at the two of you.
"What brings you here anyway? It's late." You started.
"About that, besides on wanting to congratulate you, I also wanted to apologize for avoiding you at the awards show." He said, scratching the nape of his neck and looking at you shyly.
"Apology accepted only if you tell me why." You said, crossing your arms over your chest.
"I was nervous, I was unsure on how to tell you. Y/N, you've been an amazing friend. But I'm not sure if that's all I want from you."
Your heart definitely started thumping loudly
"What do you mean, Jay?"
"I like you, Y/N. I want you to be my girlfriend."
And that my friend, is how you ended up dating Park Jay.

Sometimes you'd fake jealousy to tease him on how he's sweeter to his fans than you. But you know and understand just how much he adores them.
Your biggest fan, owns merches of you.
Would even use an anonymous account to trade photocards with fans online just to have yours.
"Silly, I could've just gave you one."
When the two of you would cross paths backstage, you'd simply nod at each other or sometimes intentionally bump shoulders to acknowledge each other. Sometimes even a few elbow nudges here and there.
I know. Weird flex.
At interviews, you'd get ask about your ideal type in men and you'd try to describe the exact opposite of him to avoid speculation.
"I prefer guys with very pale skin, not much into fashion, and is a pro at aegyo. I prefer cute over sexy. And I'm not really into guys with blonde hair either." You'd say to the interviewee
Jay would burst out laughing at home as he watched your interview.
Stolen kisses in broom closets
You are there to convince him that sometimes, having embarassing moments is okay.
And always reminds him how adorable and incredibly sexy he is.
Opposed to popular belief, he's actually super shy, that is why he appreciates when you try to boost his ego
On your rest days, the two of you would cuddle all day in your dorms, playing online games and making out.
Your disguises stripped away and hanged on a chair or smtn
Just you in his shirt, snuggling close to him.
The two of you hidden away from the eyes of the crowds.
And you'd think to yourself

Enhypen isn’t under Bighit: A quick guide to Bighit Entertainment, Bighit Labels and Belift+
To understand everything, first you have to know what Bighit Entertainment is. Bighit Entertainment is one of the biggest entertainment agencies in South Korea right now. It’s current CEO is Bang Si Hyuk (who you all know as Bang PD).
Now, the talents under Bighit Entertainment are:
BTS
TXT
Lee Hyun
How do you know if a group is under Bighit Entertainment? Well, their music videos start with this:

Again, this can only be seen in BTS and TXT mvs. Lee Hyun, as far as I know, hasn’t released any official BH-Ent. MVs recently so this hasn’t applied to him yet.
Now, let’s move to BH Labels. The past few years, Bighit has been acquiring several entertainment companies (and their groups). This is the reason why you can see Gfriend, NUEST and SVT in Weverse. While their company is owned by Bighit, it doesn’t mean they are managed by Bighit. This only means that BH has very very big shares and stocks. Among all these companies, think of Bighit Entertainment as the mother group. The groups under these subsidiary are still managed by their old companies. Under Bighit Labels, you can find the following companies and groups among others:
Bighit Entertainment (BTS, TXT, Lee Hyun)
Pledis (SVT, NUEST)
Source Music (Gfriend)
BELIFT+ (Enhypen)
Going back to the MV intro thing, you can see that SVT and Gfriend MVs don’t have the Bighit intro logo like BTS and TXT do—because they aren’t under Bighit.

Now, BELIFT+. BELIFT+ is a new company formed as a collaboration between Bighit and CJ ent. What does this mean? This means BELIFT+ group management will be handled by CJ Ent. while their productions are handled by BigHit.
To sum that all up, Enhypen is a group debuting under BELIFT+, not Bighit Entertainment. It’s a whole different company—a subsidiary company under Bighit Labels.
How it works will be just all the companies working in one building, under one label not one agency. So, yes. Hueningkai is still the Bighit maknae, because Niki is the Belift+ maknae. Heeseung is the Belift+ hyung. While they’re all under one umbrella company—Bighit family is only TXT, BTS and Lee Hyun. Enhypen is the first and only group under Belift+ so far, and they’re different from Bighit Entertainment.
So, sad to say—no Enhypen in Bighit universe, no Enhypen in Bighit family shoots. They’re BELIFT+—not Bighit.
