ok cool so it's not just me. cross-posting from my DUMB post:
for whom the image doesn't load, the t-shirt skintone at #38c9da is lighter. it's a bright cyan/turquoise, while #5060eb is a deeper blue-purple with a lower luminance.
Rough luminance comparison (0–255 scale):
38c9da -> ~160
5060eb -> ~107
blue is much lighter than he should be -- he's the same color as aqua, roughly. and no, a limited pastel color palette is not an excuse to suck the melanin out of a character. yes, even though he is blue he is Black. here is a post by creatingblackcharacters, a very powerful resource, on rendering darkskinned people with pastels.
i would like this to hopefully be changed in later releases, because Black fans deserve to be appropriately represented. i do NOT assume ill will on the part of fangamer or the designer, but this still should be fixed.

Hello,
I am a fan of DELTARUNE and the Fangamer merchandise line. I notice that in the newly-released "Flower Cafe" shirt, Blue is whitewashed. His color on the t-shirt is significantly lighter than his in-game skin tone. I would like to suggest that for future releases of this shirt that his skin tone be darkened to match the lower luminance of his sprite. If this looks uncanny, I'm sure the artist could figure out a more appealing color palette that does not whitewash the only canonically Black character in the game.
