In honor of the original getting 100,000 notes, I created a new color version. Enjoy!
worthy adversaries, vol. 7
even more lines (animated gif)
“Oh, my bad, I forgot I’m supposed to take time out of my work to help you, when you’re too fucking stupid to find a storage closet!” Lodovico snapped, absolutely livid.
Before he even thought about it- let alone the consequences of it- he reached out and grabbed Virus’s shirt, pulling the other man over and kissing him.
Virus wasn't even taken by shock or anything, responding immediately by pushing Lodovico back against one of the walls, hands on his lab coat, kissing back with a snarl of sorts.
He really didn't know why exactly? But he also didn't care. He was angry, and the scientist wasn't exactly unattractive. His palms flattened, gloved hands pressing harder into the body separating him from the wall.
“Your eyes glows, Vi,” Maria chuckled with a shake of her head. “I think I can handle weird hands just fine. Plus, Night Vale has kind of altered my perception of what weird actually is.” She smiled brightly at him.
"They don't g-g-g-glow, they're bionic. Don;t be racist." He scoffed, conceding and puuling off the gloves. The wire structures under the silicon was painfully obvious, but it was complete and covered everything. Within both of his palms, though, were LCD touch screens, one black and the other flickering with static. Trusting her to not make a big deal out of it, he simply went to pouring the wine after stuffing the gloves in his pocket. "It f-f-f-feels weird."
Usually people didn’t come into the labs of their own accord unless they worked here, and it seemed rarer still that a stranger would walk in with such purpose. Usually newcomers were patients and they all know how that usually ended up. “Ah… Hello-?” He tries to catch the other’s attention before he goes in much further, but the cross expression was certainly something he was wary of. Security? A very dedicated but annoyed maintentence worker? “Can I help you?” Was he eyeballing the computers? An electrician?
Oh Smiling God, great. Of course there was somebody in here, of course. His fingers came down onto a keyboard, not even glancing over at the man approaching him. "Sure, if you can t-tell me w-w-w-w-who was trying to access files above their sec-curity grade." He remarked, tapping away at the keys with one hand, the other fishing his ID out and slapping it down for the other to read. "Security Anaylst Tech. I'm from IT. I got an a-al-a-a-alert of an attempted breach from one of these." He sighed a little, to himself. There were a lot of computers in here and he wasn't exactly patient.
A nice voice. An unfamiliar voice, but nice nonetheless. It was smooth, and somehow relaxed Virus already. He found his way to where the voice came from, the bags under his eyes dark and the gloves on his hands worn. “Where am I?” he questioned, ignoring Cecil’s own question.
Cecil looked up and saw an unfamiliar man. “You’re in Night Vale, of course. Where would you think you were?”
“N-Not here… Night V-V-V-V-Vale? Who are you?” He was on guard, skittish and jumpy, eyes darting around the station. “How did I even e-e-e-e-end up here?”
