flowers and magic tricks; [ open! ]
Ah, what was I suppose to get again? I should have brought a list with me.. what a fool I am for not having Azur write down what I needed! Ah well.. itâll come to me eventually. Now.. maybe a crown of Peonies would suit him? no.. Iâll get him a crown of Hibiscus.. I think he told me that they meant Gentle? gentle would suit him more than bravery.. very well, Hibiscus it is! I surely do hope Azur likes them.. they arevery prettyâŠ
Hm.. I believe I was also supposed to pick a few flowers for mother, but that can wait. I suppose I shall get her some daisies later. For now, I want to see the magic act that was set up not too far from here.. perhaps itâll be interesting?
Shaking off her thoughts, Lucina put the crown of Hibiscus flowers on her head so she wouldnât lose them, after all she did buy them for her little brother, so she didnât want to lose them. Walking away from the flower cart, only to return later, she made her way through the bustling crowd to the centerplace where the magic act would be held.
Apparently a magician of âmagical powersâ without a tome had shown up and decided to put on a display for only a few coin. He got many watchers, a rows of seats had been set up for the audience as the closest near the magician had been filled with children and their accompanying parents.
Lucina chose somewhere near the back to stand, not feeling like sitting down, as she laced her fingers together behind her back as the magic act prepared to begin in a couple minutes. The rest of the audience filed in and found somewhere to sit as the booth to pay was closed as the session began, the red curtains opening and the magician starting off with squirting the children with water from his âwandâ. They laughed happily as the spirits of the crowd softened and soon turned into a joyous atmosphere. She smiled as the magician went on entertaining the audience, performing various acts.
.....?
I don't recognize this place at all.. Surely I was on the right track- Was I?
The red-head sighed a little, feeling a bit disoriented by all of this. The buildings and people, let alone the atmosphere itself felt very, very different. His eyes looked about for any sign of familiarity as he continued onward, but none appeared that way. However, sounds of a crowd could be heard up ahead. Was there some sort of event going on? Maybe Roy could find some sort of answer, though he didn't want to attract much attention. His outfit stood out a lot compared to everyone else.
"A show?" He stood in the back of the audience, keeping some distance away from the crowd that were seated. What he saw was something he never exactly did before. The magician was using 'magic' without tomes of any sort- But it wasn't any sort of elemental magic. Though hearing the children and mostly everyone else having a good time made Roy feel a bit happy.
During his watching of the various acts, he noticed a girl not too far from where he was standing. Dismissing the odd wearing of the flower crown she wore upon her head, Roy could sense this was no ordinary girl; She had the aura of authority around her, so asking this woman for information would for the best.
"Pardon me, Miss--" he spoke to the blue-haired woman in a tone enough for her to hear. "If you don't mind, can you tell me the name of this place..?"
