per sempre si (V) - sounds way more fun on spotify. not a fan of this one over a lot of the others and I have a feeling that unless they really spruce up the performance this will not get very far. italy worst performance in half a decade #trust
tu mi piaci tanto - I always do like sayf music but it's always a jumpscare bc of sayf (valorant player). This is WAY more of a bop than the winner and I'm ALWAYS here for a good horn part. This had to flop live for it to have lost right. right
che fastidio - love the beat and would absolutely dance to this all day but I don't know how much I like the 80% of the singing that's really just speaking because from what i remember she has a GORGEOUS singing voice. :(
magica favola - I know people don't like ballads at esc but this one is honestly so pretty I can't even be mad. Don't think this would be a contender but just like the name suggests I would believe this is a Disney song. Love it!
male necessario - I'm not convinced on fedez outside of a recording solely because he loves his autotune but this one is pretty good? Don't know how good it would have been live since Masini sounds kind of uncomfortable on the high notes but the song fucks. added to my playlist!
prima che - it's fine? lowkey a little flat tbh. one I would skip through and not listen to again but I do like the name william mezzanotte. shoutout william midnight
stupida sfortuna - I'm a big fulminacci fan but this one is definitely on the weaker side? Don't think this would be a contender, but it's a pleasant listen!
stella stellina - are we deadass. this LOST??? I like this one a ton omg. No notes this fucks. I would listen to a dance remix of this I think that would go viral tbh.
qui con me - Don't think you need to understand italian to get the gist of this one. Definitely a really good ballad and Serena's voice is insane! Not really a contender idt but I like it. Giving Mariah vibes without the whistle notes
i romantici - this sounds like it would pop up as a recommended song on spotify for me. I personally like it but if we're sending a ballad there are two above and I'm sure more below that might work a little better. Also I appreciate his. erm affinity for interesting rhythms but the pseudo-rap at the beginning threw me off so bad LOL
poesie clandestine - my goat aka 7even. this one is definitely in my top 3 so far, it's so fun and danceable. Would love to have seen what they do with the staging esp since there's only 2 artists on stage ! actually might be my favorite LMAO
labirinto - not a fan but the backing track is pretty solid!
resta con me - omg. a girl band. and this is great?? can we be serious this fucks how did this rank lower than labirinto. the vocal control the lead singer has is so good.
sei tu - levante's voice definitely carries this I love this sm. Definitely not one that I think could contend but I really like it. Also does that cool syncopation thing that paradiso tried but she execs it way better. Saved !
italia starter pack - I haven't started listening yet but I am fascinated by this title. I do have some J-AX on my playlists so I'm curious. It sounds incredibly Kentuckian ermmm. I like the social commentary tho! The album cover is also fascinating. wow
uomo che cade - this one also goes kinda hard. I do like this one more than some of the other primarily rap ones, it's very smooth. Also love the falling orchestral melody line after the chorus that fucks severely.
ossessione - I think if you played this to an American they would assume they're speaking spanish solely because of the latin pop beat (and. yk the spanish they put in once in a while) but I fw it. This one is so fun I hope someone picks it up to play at parties. Definitely should be higher but not by much idt. Also definitely like the part where they slow it down.
ora e per sempre - raf has such a great voice but this is a little slow for esc I think. gorgeous song though! Honestly feels like a deserved placement. Good but not great yk
animali notturni - fascinating title. ok wait the beat is GOOD. this is a very fun 80s disco-sounding song with a really funky bassline. No idea why it's so low?
ogni volta che non so volare - nope I don't fw this at all. why is he breathing in my ear. The singing parts aren't bad but this is weak asf sorry man. and yet 10 songs ranked below this okay what the fuck am I about to get into
la felicita e basta - this is fun but I can definitely see how it was ranked this low. not super special unfortunately. I like Colombre's voice though remind me to go through his discography later.
prima o poi - I was a huge fan of inverno di fiori a few years ago so let's see if he was robbed. ok no this is no inverno di fiori. I like it though. Don't mind it being this low but would personally bump it up a few spots
il meglio di me - yeah this is also nothing special. not bad! but nothing to write home about.
opera - this song isn't super special either, and I think there are way better ballads if that was the direction ppl were leaning towards. but her career story is pretty cool!
ti penso sempre - from the beginning of the song it sounds like one of those basement indie artist songs. it's also fine but not a standout. would probably skip on my own
voila - another one of those fine ones. Nothing to write home about but it's fun!
ai ai - this one is pretty fun! definitely not a 26 from the song alone but. also there are better disco songs above. wouldn't move it up too much, max like 3 places
naturale - this is also pretty good? would be curious to know what happened at the live show to have this one come this low tbh. Would probably put this in the low teens/high twenties myself
