FUN FACTS ABOUT THEM!! - they actively radiate bad luck. just look at the sod. - their oxygen bombs bombs make great party favors. - the wooden plank around their neck i learned is called a "yoke", its the thing that farmers use to hook their cattle to a plow. i did not know that until after making this dude - their eye is actually a 3D sphere!! - what they hold is nothing of monetary value.

rn the colors are far from finished - wes start by taking stock images and lining them up roughly where theyd go, then recoloring everything so it makes more visual sense - then wes duplicate the texture (one as the reference, the other we rearrange the pieces into a regular texture) and then stitch it back together in blender

The Goddess that The Flock worshipped at one point, but lost sight of her.

In changing and aiding the Conceptians, she takes an interest in you. If you help all of them, she will show you the concept art for Birds of a Feather, and talk about them with you.

She is Half conceptian, Half realized. She is the Brush and the Pen.

~ PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING ~

Conceptians are poorly understood concepts left in poorly observed states. Thus, they follow their Namesakes, tearing at the scraps of this world, eachother included. They are embodiment of the phrase, "I am who I am and nothing can change that."

But given Perspective, given a new eye(s) to percieve themselves with, they begin to change. They all take on new and understood forms of their preference. They are the embodiment of the phrase, "I choose who I want to be."

I know this probably a big question but what's the main premise of Birds of a Feather?

its a storyfocused rpg(?) bout learning to cope and heal from extreme trauma!

Once, a time ago, there was a young bird born into the Feather. For reasons that bird knew not of, the Feather cast them out from their High Place and onto the world below.

This game's world is all made up from the remains of that bird. The story revolves around the 5 Aspects, beings that encompass the various parts of the bird. Beaks, Wings, Talons, Nerves, and Eyes.

You play as Peeper (element of acceptance), and you live at the top of the world egg, in the bonestone birdcage, along with Nerves (element of denial).

Nerves, believing you are the last remnants of pure innocence in a darkened world, acts as Peeper's manic momfail and the keeper of the birdcage.

(if you bit her she would go YEEEOWCH)

Your life is as peaceful and good as one could possibly hope for. But something deep in your core calls to you. Something needs to be found. Something needs to change.

HOWDIE PEEPS! startin a new blog for Birds of a Feather development specifically, an will be reblogging all of this to my main astr account. just as a way to keep it all contained ANYWAYS THOUGH!! this is my current project build ive got running, the main gimmick of the combat is a two-phase system of attacking enemy's intentions and nullifying them, and defending against the leftovers. its still early in development BUT ive been WAY autistic about this project lately an am lookin forwards to doin more B)
