My personal headcanon is either sandwing (grew up on the scorpion den ofc ofc) or nightwing

I hadn’t honestly considered rainwing before and i do kinda fuck w that but i fear that he and Qibli are too similar in my brain, and the scorpion den just works TOO well. Maybe he got separated from them at some point tho and ended up on the other side of the continent (which would probably be where he met the others, it’d make sense since Jay would definitely be coming straight from the skywing palace and Gillion would have probably ended up in Mudwing territory)

Ough imagine how Gillion would feel interacting w other dragons for the first time since seawings tend to be so secluded. It would be SO jarring going from living (most likely) in the Deep Palace to finding himself on the outskirts of mudwing territory

That’d be like going from a 1600s palace to florida in the ‘90s

I will say, going back to the nightwing thing again, it would be VERY funny and very in character for Chip to be constantly be like “nuh uh, I know so because of my super cool awesome nightwing powers, which i totally have.” And jay sees right through his shit but Gillions ENAMORED bc he’s never met a dragon that can see the future
