This is called a "superloo" and terfs are actively trying to steal this from you, in the UK they changed bathroom regulations to mean new buildings have to prioritise gendered toilets rather than build superloos.

This also upset a lot of architects and designers who like the superloos. They're also typically more like small rooms rather than having doors you can look under.

i rly gotta cut myself from this conversation bc hoo boy its not good for any of us. but i have to say one thing about all the “bad story/writing” commentary before i shut up for good:

everything crowley and azirpahale have ever done is because they love humans.

eating the apple, giving away the sword, lying to god, defying god’s plan, standing against satan himself, retiring/ostracising themselves, going back to heaven to stop the next apocalypse, every little adventure and pitfall and personal sacrifice in between. it’s been for humanity, because they love humans.

martyring themselves for the benefit of mankind? putting humans above themselves and their love for each other? that is the most in-character ending to their story that we ever could have gotten.

i simply don’t want to hear any criticism of the good omens finale, especially anything along the lines of “the writers mischaracterized them, they would have chosen each other”

the whole point of season one, the *original storyline*, was that they defied their bosses not because they knew they were in love, but because they loved humanity more than anything. time and again, they have always chosen humanity, and them choosing humanity again was always the answer.

that, and aziraphale literally says “you know what i want, but that’s not what matters.” he wants them to be an “us” too, but he knows that it’s all bigger than their love. humanity matters more, true free-willed humanity — and to be human is to choose love.

(and i truthfully believe they both knew they’d find each other again somehow.)
