The crowd explodes in a frenzy of cheers at the mention of a named contestant. The others have only been numbers. Screams of “Rinzler! Rinzler! Rinzler!” shake the stadium.

“That can’t be good,” Yori mutters.

A doorway appears from the wall nanos later. A lone program slips out of the darkness.

A sense of wrongness overtakes her at the sight of him. She’s not sure how else to describe it.

Rinzler is like a negative of an image. A void shaped like a program. His shell carries scant pinpricks of light, burning red. His mask is a mirror, so programs can see their own faces looking back at them. Like they’re attacking themselves. Aside from that, he’s a shadow.

hey tronblr, interest check lol, im like seriously considering making a 1979-1982 themed zine specifically based off of actual magazines/tabloids if that makes sense. like some pages could be 'ads' (like for any computers/consoles/software/tech from the time... or tbh anything else really), and like i would love to have all of the pages have a weathered/yellowed/scanned look to them. and some of the "articles" could be fanfics or something like that if that makes sense?!?! given my limitations all of this would be a purely digital PDF compilation thing, and like it would be self-printed for anyone ig...

idk how long it would be, and if there would be non-82 characters included (i would be open to it!!! i think it'd be fun to reimagine non-82 charas in this older time period), but yeah haha i'm open to discuss, espc if anyone is interested O_<
