Horror movie rant

slashers are pretty good if were talking about most original horror movies, the original scream is better than the sequals, its the same with texas chainsaw massacre ^_^ im not sure about the other hellraiser movies considering ive only seen the first, but i'll have to see.

I mainly enjoy TCM because of the 70s feeling the movies gives off, compared to movies today. When i turn on Netflix I don't see genuinely scary movies, i just see over formulated movies where all of the predictable deaths happen.

What happened to actually good horror movies? Do you know how far I have to go just to find the original TCM? For the original Scream? Its hard to find them on your normal streaming platforms (at least for what a white suburban family with a demented kid) to watch.

BRING BACK GOOD HORROR MOVIES!! And not the snuff films, those are messed up, and illegal for obvious reasons. (who needs snuff when reddit is free tbh)

Alright first of all, Homura does say she loves Madoka

And Madoka does say she loves Homura

Besides, there’s many many more ways to show affection and say I love you then kissing and just saying “I love you”, and the belief that’s the only way to “know for sure” is very immature. However I barley know anyone over the age of 16 who still engages in fandom on Instagram so it’s very probable these are children trying to make this argument

Also, these people don’t understand that lgbt content in Japan in the early 2010s cannot be held in the same regard as lgbt content now. They where much less forward then we where even then and most Yuri content was made for sexualisation. Urobuchi even had to confirm that Homura’s feelings where not sexual, he did however tease that they where romantic “does homura love Madoka?” “Probably” which was confirmed a couple months later in rebellion.

There’s also this stuff in official media where it’s incredibly hard to ignore the romantic subtext (click for full images)
