I asked Hibari once if the lack of muse was due to world events in jest, and he answered ‘yes’. When your own HC’s bite you in the ass.
Basically, I live, but mainly on my other blog or discord. Find me there to talk. Maybe Hibari can be badgered to interact.
Cycling back to this, just going to go ahead and close out. Hibari’s muse isn’t strong enough to warrant a dedicated blog.
xxyumeno:
It was perfectly obvious to Dino that Hibari was conscious to the waking world. More or less caused by him simply approaching from a distance. One would think Dino would have learned not to do certain things with how he had trained Kyoya for the Ring Battles, but…
❝ Well~ ❞ Dino began in a light cheery tone in response to Hibari’s words. ❝ Both yes and no. Visually I can see you, but how would I know how you’re really doing? ❞ the blond pointed out. He did feel a bit bad for ruining Hibari’s nap.
❝ Now now, you don’t have show your affection for me that way~ ❞ maybe Dino had a death wish, but who knew.
《𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓔𝓵𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓒𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓭》
—————————————————————————————————
The cheer in Dino’s tone did wonders to the rising bloodlust coursing through Hibari’s veins. Every cell in his body urging him to bite the other to death. His current state?
【Currently, I’m devising different ways to bite you to death.】
Dino had a point, did he not? His shoulders dropped for a mere second before a fiendish grin appears across his features.
【Fine, I’ll show you my animosity instead. Kamikorosu.】
The prefect wasted no time in rushing at Dino, tonfas at the ready to slam into his mentor’s stomach, or uppercut him in the jaw. Any who dared to rouse him from his nap met the same fate, being sent to the hospital. It was just punishment.
xxyumeno:
Dino had not bat an eye when he felt the Namimori Prefect’s temper flare. To say the Cavallone Don was quite used to if not familiar with Hibari’s temperament. How could he not with how long he has trained the Cloud Guardian of his lilttle brother? That aside, Dino could only chuckle after hearing Hibari speak.
❝ Did I wake you? ❞ did he have a death wish? Dino was full aware that Hibari was sleeping earlier. He just didn’t expect him to wake up as easily as Hibari did. That was also a lie and Dino was just bad at looking for very obvious excuses. ❝ Merely wanted to see my favorite student~ ❞ he is your only student Dino.

Was it not readily obvious that the prefect was now perfectly conscious to the world around him rather than peacefully slumbering time away? Being the sort to become disgruntled after being rudely awakened, Hibari was unamused by Dino’s nonchalance to waking him.
【That doesn’t require waking me.】
If your intent was just to see him, quietly observing would’ve sufficed. That said, if Dino had chosen to simply gawk at him in silence, Hibari would have risen from his slumber either way. Being watched like a prey being stalked was spine-tingling.
【Perhaps the mentor would enjoy being bitten to death.】
What better way to showcase his skills than by demolishing his self-proclaimed ‘teacher.’ Irritation up, tonfas out, bloodlust set to ‘decimate anyone within range.’
Closed starter for @xxyumeno’s Dino

To say that Hibari was upset would be an understatement, but it was also valid to say that the prefect was always in a foul mood, therefore the situation at hand could hardly be considered anything special. If nothing else, in his point of view, he had an even temperament, one not too skewed in one direction, but it was others who chose to test the checks and balances of the world.
Other times, his temper simply flared by laying eyes upon certain visages, like that of a self-proclaimed mentor. Whether or not truth would state that Hibari had learned a thing or two from the bucking horse or not, Hibari wouldn’t acknowledge their relationship with spoken words.
【Explain yourself.】
Having been rudely awoken from his nap, the Namimori prefect was angry to say the least.

ipin couldn’t help but smile at the comment, more than glad that her visit has helped her master found peace in his afterlife. her thoughts slowly drifted too other offerings she could bring next time, although, master fon himself was never someone materialistic in his living days. she hoped that all at the very least, he was able to receive all the burnt paper money and that he was able to enjoy the food she offered to him.
“thank you.” she replied, slight smile on her face, blush forming ever so slightly.
taking some time to process what hibari has to say, she quickly nodded, from his words, she knew that there were more consequences than whatever hard truth he was about to bring her, however, when it comes to master fon any piece of information help. anything to assist her in avenging him, anything. “yes, i will.”
she still, however, had to brace herself for whatever she was about to hear, having detached herself from vongola for quite some time, she was definitely out of the loop. however, with what she’s seeing and hearing, things did not look well for anyone. the gravity of the situation could be much worse than she imagined. and she took a deep breath, readying herself for whatever that’s coming.
《𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓔𝓵𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓒𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓭》

Surely Fon was at peace in the afterlife. His family would be sure to honor him well and burn plenty paper money for him. Enough for him to live in peace, as burning too much would only garner a comment of being ‘over-indulgent’ from the deceased, surely.
With the young girl agreeing, Hibari motioned for her to follow, so he could lead them to a secluded place to speak. The path was contrived and long, but as a disciple of Fon’s, I-pin should not struggle in following his lead. On the off chance anyone had been following them, he’d chosen to play things safer than to be sorry.
Once he’d reached the designated space he’d had allocated to them in advance, he directs for I-pin to take a seat opposite of himself.
【I don’t know how much you know, but a certain group has been invading into Vongola’s territory recently. This group released something into the air that slowly killed off the Arcobaleno, including your teacher.】
He starts explaining, taking things slow to allow her time to process. Though Hibari knew more than he let on, there were still things he couldn’t fathom. The best he could do is to follow the plan and be confident in the fact the Vongola of the past could right the wrongs in the future.
【Namimori is not safe.】
He glances at her meaningfully, in a way his gaze would suggest that she prepare herself should she choose to remain in Namimori despite his clear warning.

placing the joss sticks in front of fon’s grave, ipin gave her master a respectful bow before taking in the name, the picture and all the information on the grieve. indeed, her beloved master was nothing short of special. and ipin recalled her time as his disciple, from the embarrassingly massive crush, to all that she has learned from him. it wasn’t fair, there’s still so much more to master, he hasn’t taught her all that he needs to yet, so why?
upon hearing hibari’s voice, she quickly gathered her stuff, placing one final dumpling next to the grave and inserting a joss stick into it. “next time, i’ll bring you mapo tofu, too.” she added, before heading off in the direction where they came from.
she wasn’t sure how he could communicate with the other, as grateful as she was, he was always something, and ipin could only bow her head. every embarrassing about her kindergarten crush aside, ipin just didn’t know how to talk to someone with such a strong presence like hibari. still, she had to express her gratitude to him for this trip, afterall, fon wouldn’t like it if she didn’t practice being grateful.
“thank you, hibari, for this trip.” she started, unaware of the tears that were welling up her eyes, but she promised she wouldn’t cry, she promised herself that if she got to see fon again, she wouldn’t cry. “i just miss master fon a lot. and this trip is greatly appreciated.”

The Cloud Guardian granted her as much time as allowed before interrupting her out of necessity. The longer they stayed, the more dangerous it was. While knowing that he himself did not care should any enemy forces attack him at this given moment, he would, at the very least, appreciate leaving this grave undisturbed. It would be unfilial of him towards his own relative to allow others to desecrate this secret, tucked away grave.
【He’s surely happy that you’ve taken the time to visit him.】
As far as he knew, Fon was a generous man as much as he was traditional in some cases. A disciple coming to visit their master even after death was a sign of great respect, something that Fon would not take flippantly. The bond one had to their disciple was lifelong, so barring I-pin from visiting her Master’s grave was anything short of criminal.
His own relationship with the bucking horse Dino aside, I-pin and Fon were close. Taking this into consideration, Hibari could use this to his own advantage in the incumbent conversation he’d have with her shortly.
【Follow me, we’ve some things to speak of. It relates to the death of your Master, Fon. You’ve only now to decide should you wish to listen.】
Taking into consideration that I-pin was but a young girl, but had dominion over herself, it was her right to choose for herself. With Byakuran’s reaches encroaching deeper into Vongola territory, more people on the peripherals of their network were falling prey to nefarious mishaps. Yamamoto Takeshi’s father himself had fallen, and it was only a matter of time before someone from the immediate circle is attacked. Of course, he ignores the case with Tsunayoshi Sawada, as he, knows the truth.

The ever elusive Cloud Guardian had escorted I-pin to the graveside of Fon, her master, and his relative. Not much (if anything at all) was known to the general masses of the blood relation the two men shared, with one of them being less than keen on disclosing this information for others to use to their own benefit. Out of respect for the younger male, Fon never disclosed anything about their relations, but never did he stop those from questioning it.
Hard to quell any suspicions when both of them looked so eerily alike, after all. As a relative, Hibari knew the whereabouts of Fon’s grave, the well-kept secret of the expansive family. Having grieved in his own right, the Guardian had watched on as I-pin was paying her respects to her beloved teacher. Though he would prefer to give I-pin the time she needed, that simply couldn’t be the case, given the situation.
【Come along now. It’s time to go.】
Should the two of them remain for too long, prying eyes may catch onto them, jeopardizing not only their lives, but the sanctity of this grave. Disturbing the final resting spot of any was a blemish to one’s honor, and Hibari wouldn’t wish that upon any honorable fighter.
How Many People are Simping You?
“What are simps?” Hibari waits for an explanation before he addresses his results once more. As long as these ‘simps’ kept an appropriate distance from him, they may keep their lives. Otherwise... “Kamikorosu.”

Belphegor was capricious enough to take the liberty of an unplanned vacation for the day, jetting off in the Varia’s private jet to who knows where. Drawn to the quiet, perpetually peaceful town, the mundane atmosphere of impulsive shopping && Takesushi was a healthy change of pace for him.
Belphegor remembered his first stay in Namimori, becoming bored by the appalling lack of local criminal activity —— as most locations, even the most heavily policed, had troublemakers —— yet, the humble Japanese city offered something else to the assassin prince. Normalcy. Something he had never experienced prior.
“ No need to worry, Ace, ” Belphegor purrs, deliberately getting the cloud guardian’s name wrong, a tribute to his first meeting with Hibari Kyoya, “ The prince is not here to ‘ play ’ ~ Ushishi ! ” Ironically, this disaster really was in Namimori for sight-seeing, though encountering some neat trash was always a plus too.

The Cloudian would be lying to say he despised the moniker given to him if not simply because it had the connotation of him belonging to a group. He, the solitary Cloud refused to acknowledge he had aligned himself with a group. Nay, he existed wherever he pleased and on his own terms.
Eyes narrowed to dangerous slits for a moment before he relaxed the muscles atop his forehead. If not here to ‘play,’ what other reason would ‘Prince the Ripper’ have in this Namimori?
【You’ve yet to answer the question, why are you here? It couldn’t be a simple visit?】
As willful as Belphegor seemed in his eyes, he couldn’t believe that the other would find anything of interest in Namimori when compared to Tokyo, or some other high traffic tourist spots. Yakuza or the mafia aside, Namimori was as regular as can be.
【Have you come alone?】
It would seem to be the case, but Hibari didn’t dismiss the fact the Varia could be ‘operating’ separately. Though still wary, Hibari had dropped some of the antagonism he was previously exuding. There was no sense in wasting his energy on an opponent who wasn’t here for a fight. How boring, but otherwise appreciated.

After all this time, whereof nearly ten years consisted of an unique bond formed for the sake of the tenth generation of Vongola, his Cloud Guardian still sends a cold shiver down his spine. If looks could kill, he would have died many times over. In the present day, however, he no longer found himself shrieking and scrambling around the floor but heaving a flustered sigh instead.
“ Thank you for meeting me on such short notice, Hibari-san,” he said with a gentle smile that did not seem to reach his eyes. The meager smile faded, and the weight of his message seemed to lay heavy on his shoulders. “ Currently, a once allied family declared war with Vongola, as they no longer support the path we are walking. They believe they can destroy Vongola and take our resources.”
Tsunayoshi paused briefly, uncomfortably. “ Which they cannot, of course. However, letting them run wild until they figure it out themselves it not an option. Too much blood would be spilled, on both sides. My request for you is to infiltrate their base with me. ” Of all his Guardians, his Cloud Guardian was most experienced in battle and to be honest, the one least likely to accidentally blow up the entire base.
Rational and deadly accurate.
“ As always, you will be compensated for your effort.” The raven would often choose a match with Reborn, himself or his Mist guardian, though, unsurprisingly.

If even the passage of time could not shake the intimidating shiver sent down the spines of all who dare to intrude upon his time, all is well. As the solitary entity of the sky, the cloud prefers being unhindered. Only to act when within the range of its means.
The Cloudian quietly listened to Tsunayoshi speak, but he still had some comments, or rather rebukes to make. In this day and age, information was of utmost importance. The probability of success or failure greatly hinged on the amount of information one had to offer. As such, while confident in his skills, Hibari refused to go on missions without at the very least the bare minimum of information as to save himself the extra hassle of investigating himself.
After all, he was a busy man.
【No longer are we children, cut to the chase and hide nothing. Who is itching for a biting?】
Who was it that had willingly signed the papers on their own death certificate? Looking down on Tsunayoshi aside, to consider ‘destroying the Vongola’ meant they had taken measures against himself. A fact both highly amusing as much as it was insulting. Would it not be courteous of him to show them how horribly naïve they were?
【Hand over the information prior to requesting I aid you with your charity case.】
Of course, the enemy being the ones in need of charity. Only idiots would need his ‘generosity’ in the form of pain to teach them a lesson they’d never forget.
That is to say, Hibari was giving a conditional agreement to the mission, but only after the other party (in this case Tsunayoshi) spared the bare minimum effort.

Hibari had trained multiple yellow feathered companions over the years and each and every one quite capable of performing tasks given to them. The Cloudian trusted them just as much, if not more, than the members who have followed him since the Disciplinary Committee days.
Most often, the little birds were tasked to fly above head to stalk the peaceful streets of Namimori. Should anything prove detrimental to the peace, Hibari would be alerted by a certain signal. He’d received the signal and had gone out to investigate.
Who else would he come across other than Prince Belphegor of the Varia squad?
【Certainly, this is a cause of concern. State your business.】
With a raised hand, a yellow bird perched upon his finger, singing a nostalgic song that resonate deep within the Cloudian. This man never forgot his roots, and never did he allow repeat transgressors to walk about without any form of supervision as long as he was made aware of them.
Surely the Prince had not arrived in Japan for something as mundane as sight-seeing? To what did Namimori owe this disaster coming around?

Power and strength are as similar to each other as much as they are different. Both of which are concepts the Cloudian is well acquainted with as he was given the moniker of the ‘strongest 10th generation guardian.’
Many things have changed ever since a certain infant had touched base in Japan with the sole goal to raise a ‘no-good’ whelp into a man who had the guts to call himself Hibari Kyouya’s boss, as contrived as they may feel.
Just as there existed aspects to his life that had changed, certain things remain untouched by time itself. A sharp gaze sharp enough to cut steel glances up from his papers he had just been skimming.
‘No appointment.’
【Tsunayoshi Sawada.】
The 10th generation boss was sitting in his office without any prior word of warning. The Cloudian walks past him and situates himself at his desk, sparing his ‘boss’ a look, wordlessly inquiring as to why he’d come all the way here to his base.
Must be important if Tsunayoshi Sawada dropped by without warning, or requesting for Hibari to appear-- he thinks as if the he would heed such summons if they did not interest him in the slightest to begin with.
Patience was a virtue Hibari seldom exercised. Speak quick or get escorted out.
